The Herb Merchant is Baal Isidro's Chapter 1 swampweed sale in the New Camp. The deal involves collecting his stock, finding a bulk buyer and returning his agreed share. Complete Canvassing Customers before trying to persuade him.
Arrange the deal
Finish Baal Kagan's Canvassing Customers task in the New Camp cave settlement. Then visit Baal Isidro in the tavern and give him alcohol. Silas sells drinks at the counter if you need one. Mention that Baal Kagan wants him replaced, then offer to sell his stock on a fifty-fifty split.
The replacement dialogue depends on the earlier job. If Isidro refuses the deal, check that Canvassing Customers is complete and that you have given him a drink.
Sell to Cipher
Take the stock to Cipher on the tavern's second floor. Choose the trading dialogue, "What do you have on offer?", to sell the shipment for 400 ore nuggets. This bulk sale avoids searching for individual buyers.
Return Isidro's share
Go back to Baal Isidro and give him 200 ore nuggets to complete the quest. The reward is 400 XP. After paying his share, 200 ore nuggets remain from the 400-ore sale.
