Ratford is a New Camp rogue and one of the quest-giving NPCs in the Nyras Prologue demo. He operates alongside Drax at a small camp near the Exchange Zone.

Missing-Partner Quest

Ratford asks Nyras to find his missing partner Jorik, whose disappearance is one of the demo's main quest hooks. The search takes Nyras into an abandoned mine area, which is one of the demo's headline locations and a chance to show the remake's reworked combat against creatures like molerats, scavengers, and goblins in close-quarters underground spaces.

Rogue Alignment

Like Drax, Ratford is a Rogue rather than a Mercenary. He fits the same scouting-and-logistics profile that the Rogues handle for the New Camp: information, courier work, and operations outside the camp walls rather than direct combat duty.

Where He Fits in the Demo

Ratford is the Nyras Prologue's slower, more dialogue-driven quest hook, complementing Drax's combat-focused scavenger hunt. Together the two rogues structure the demo's roughly one-hour playable content around the Exchange Zone canyon, the abandoned mine, and the plateau above it.
