Added the side quest route and completion details.
Out of Sight is Thorus's Chapter 1 task to remove Mordrag from the Old Camp. Continue asking Thorus for work until he explains the problem. Mordrag waits near the south gate.
Approach | Result |
|---|---|
Ask Mordrag to take the Hero to the New Camp | He escorts the journey, stays there, and gives his ring. Arrival awards 200 XP. |
Knock Mordrag unconscious and tell him to leave | Removes him without killing him and grants 100 combat XP. |
Kill Mordrag | Removes him and grants 200 combat XP; his ring and equipment can be looted. |
The escort route preserves Mordrag as a trader and gives a guided introduction to the New Camp. Complete it before delivering the Old Mine list to Lares, because that delivery removes the escort option in this quest.
Mordrag's Ring can be given to Lares to help earn trust, or kept for its 5 Dexterity bonus. The supply list is still required later for The Raid; surrendering the ring does not replace that requirement.
Return to Thorus for 250 XP and his support. Mordrag's former hut becomes usable. Removing the trader also angers Fisk: hear him out at the market and offer to fix the problem to begin A New Fence for Fisk. That follow-up restores his support.
Follow Admission to the New Camp if continuing with Lares.
