Gomez

Gomez is the leader of the Old Camp and the most powerful single figure inside the Barrier. He controls the flow of magical ore out of the Valley of Mines to the Crown. Alkimia Interactive has included Gomez in the remake's publicly listed roster of recreated characters.

Rule

Under Gomez, the Old Camp functions as a kingdom in miniature. Senior lieutenants run the individual ore operations on his behalf, armed guards and Shadows enforce his authority, and the Fire Mages living within the camp's castle back his regime in exchange for protection. The camp's stability rests on his personal grip on the ore trade.

Ore Trade with the Crown

Gomez's political power comes from his deal with the Crown: the Kingdom of Myrtana receives magical ore in exchange for food, wine, and other supplies sent in through the Barrier. Anyone inside the Colony who threatens that arrangement is dealt with harshly.

Relationship to the Hero

Gomez is not inherently hostile to the Hero, but he demands respect on his own terms. Whether the Hero cooperates with the Old Camp, works around Gomez, or ultimately turns against him depends on which camp the Hero joins and how far the player pushes into the Old Camp's internal politics.

Voice Cast

Gomez's Polish voice has been confirmed as Adam Bauman (who also voices Diego) via the November 2025 "Voices Across the Colony" behind-the-scenes series. English, German, and Russian voice assignments for the character have not yet been made public. See Voice Cast and Localization.
