Troy is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave and the second named unit of the Promised One's Army, the group that gathers around Eshmel in the present day. She is older than most of the revealed cast by a wide margin, she has known the rulers of Saramis across several generations, and she is the only character built around a firearm that was made specifically for her.

Her Japanese name is トロイア, read Toroia. Troy is the official English form, and it is the spelling used throughout this wiki; coverage published before the localised name landed used a transliteration of the Japanese instead.
Troy has been an acquaintance of several successive kings of Saramis, which places her lifespan well outside the ordinary. A young Theodora is reported to have given her the nickname "great grandma", though the English wording for that line has not been confirmed and may not be final.
In the year 1454 of the Dagdan Calendar, she joined the Promised One's Army after being contacted by the person who prepared the body Eshmel now occupies. That framing matters: the protagonist's body was built for them after their first death, and Troy was recruited by whoever did the building rather than by Eshmel directly. She is one of the survivors the protagonist reaches in the ruined capital, and she can be spoken to afterwards at the Obelisk Chamber beneath Dagsion.
Troy starts in the War Monk class and joins during the second prologue, alongside the first appearances of the four Heroes as bosses. Her personal weapon is Zerberus, a handheld firearm tuned exclusively for her. It is filed under the gauntlet weapon type, which is how this game categorises firearms in general, and it has range 1 to 2 with five uses, deals magic damage, and grants the Compressed Laser combat art.
Because Combat Arts are the only thing that spends weapon durability, those five uses translate directly into five Compressed Laser activations before the weapon is spent. See Weapons and Items and Equipment for how uses and forging work.
