Tobias is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave and a general of the Kingdom of Saramis, titled the Lionheart of Saramis. He fights for Theodora as part of Megaira's Beacon at the Heroic Games. Where Bonaventure is the strategist at the queen's side, Tobias is the muscle, and he is quite open about not being the thinker of the pair.

Profile

Service to Saramis

Tobias has served the Saraminian crown as Lionheart since the reign of the previous king, Sergio, the same generation of service as Bonaventure, and he has a long record of feats in the field behind him. The Japanese title behind Lionheart reads as Strong General, set directly against the Wise General that Bonaventure holds.

His Japanese profile notes that he addresses Queen Theodora with a familiar nickname rather than her title, a habit that presumably dates from watching her grow up at court. In English his critical line is "For the Boss!", which carries the same idea across.

Personality

Tobias is bad at thinking his way through problems and worse at remembering people's names. He drinks, he sings, he fights, and he likes company. The character sketch is consistent from the Japanese profile through to Nintendo's English one, which calls him as strong as he is tough.

In Battle

Tobias starts in the Noble class and fights with axes and heavy armour, earning proficiency experience for Axe and Armor after a kill. He is shown wielding a short axe and using a combat art named Smashing Axe. Nintendo's profile says his well honed skills can wreak havoc in battle. No stats have been published for him.

Likes and Interests

His Japanese profile lists drink and fighting alongside singing and company, so the English wording trims rather than contradicts.
