Sirocco is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave and a bard who appears in front of Leda while she is pursuing her revenge, then joins her clan, Rose Tempest, for the Heroic Games. He calls himself a capricious wind, a phrase also rendered as the Whimsical Wind, and behaves accordingly. Underneath the flirting he is well read and unusually observant.

Role

Sirocco joins Leda's party in the same chapter as Buccar and Mu, and he is the member of it who tends to know things. When Olympia confronts Leda, it is Sirocco who identifies her for the rest of the group and explains that the two of them share the title Rose of Caelus. He also sees through Mu's disguise the moment he meets her, and says so.

He hits on any woman he finds beautiful, which is the first thing anyone notices about him and the least interesting. The material is clear that his origins have not been given: no homeland, no age, no family.

In Battle

Nintendo's profile calls him an enigmatic bard adept with swords, magic and a variety of weapons, and the footage bears that out. He is shown in the Diviner class, the hybrid that carries a blade and casts at once, having appeared as a Shaman in an earlier trailer. His combat art Mist Ripper has been named, and his inventory in the showcase runs to an iron sword, a Zanbato that is effective against mounted foes, and a Venin Edge. His opponent in that showcase is one of Lechner's soldiers, which places the fight inside Leda's revenge rather than in the arena. He is also shown casting Thunder.

Likes and Interests

Kalla is one of the deities of the Dagdan pantheon with a temple on the row in Dagsion, and the one Olympia serves as a priestess.

Notes

The English spelling of his name is Sirocco, after the Mediterranean wind out of the Sahara. It has been transliterated differently elsewhere; Sirocco is the form used in the game.
