Added Part II guest appearance and Part III join condition; updated role, profile and launch wording
Aswan is a character in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave who was shown in pre-release material without being announced as part of any team. In the shipped game she fights as a guest unit in Part II and joins the army permanently in Part III. The roster listings filed her among names that had been shown on screen but whose role was unconfirmed. Which of the factions she belongs to has not yet been documented on this wiki as of September 2026.

Two moments involving Aswan are on the record. In the first she recognises Bertrand in the Heroic Games of 1449 and is shaken to find him alive; her line is barely a sentence, just that he is alive after all. She knew him before the tournament, which puts her somewhere in his past, but this wiki has not yet documented the nature of that connection as of September 2026.
In the second she talks to Leda and asks, with obvious embarrassment, whether she might count Leda as a friend, admitting that she does not have many friends her own age. A support entry pairs the two; as of September 2026 this wiki has not documented what their conversations reveal.
Beyond those, she has a second portrait showing her in disguise, which means she appears in at least two guises during the story. One character listing records an unnamed husband; as of September 2026 this wiki has not documented anything further about him, and the detail rests on a single entry.
Aswan's first battle alongside the player comes in the War Arc of Part II. In Chapter 3, Beyond the Salt Road, she and Tahonia make their way to the player's leader during the battle Grand Aragon Invaded, and talking to them turns both into playable guest units for that fight. They do not stay with the army at that point.
Both join permanently at the start of the Fifth Section of Part III, Song of the Living, on the condition that they survived as guests in Part II Chapter 3. Keeping them alive in that battle is what secures them later.
