Fatekeeper currently lists English only on the Steam store page, with full audio and interface coverage. The official store listing is the definitive source for language coverage at any given time. Additional languages during the Early Access window are possible but have not been officially confirmed.

What Full Audio Plus Interface Means
Full audio coverage means voice acting is recorded for every voiced character in the language, including the talking-rat companion central to the Druid's journey. Full interface means every menu, tooltip, and on-screen prompt is translated. Subtitles are implied in the same set, even if not toggleable independently of voice.
Single-language launches are common for small-team Early Access RPGs, and an expansion past English was always more likely to arrive in batches during the Early Access window than at launch. That is what the developer has now committed to. See Platforms for the corresponding regional storefront notes.
Languages Not Yet Listed
English is the only language on the store listing. Every language below is absent from it, including several the developer's own localization plan implies:
Korean. Conspicuously absent for an ARPG of this style; possible future addition.
Italian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin-American Spanish. Common ARPG additions but not announced.
Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Neither is listed.
Arabic, Turkish, Czech. Common community-mod targets but not in the launch set.
Adding a language requires both UI translation and a new audio recording pass for the talking-rat companion and any additional voiced characters, the latter of which is the slower of the two work streams. A seven-language target (English plus French, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Russian, and Simplified Chinese) circulated in early coverage and is still not reflected on the Steam listing. Treat it as aspirational rather than confirmed until the store metadata expands; the developer's own account of the first localization draft, below, is the better guide to what is actually coming.
Open Questions
Whether subtitles can be set independently of the voice language at launch.
Whether community-language patches (Italian, Polish, Korean) will be officially adopted during Early Access.
Whether console releases, if announced, ship with the same single-language launch set or with additional localization.
Planned Localization
Additional languages are confirmed as a planned feature rather than a vague intention. The August 2026 development update named localization as one of the headline items of the first larger patch, which the team is targeting for autumn 2026.
The developer was explicit that this first pass is a first draft, not a finished localization, and described a split workflow: English and German are handled in-house by the development team, while the other languages go through the publisher's network of professional translators. German being handled internally is unsurprising given the studio is based in Germany.
Two things remain unpublished: which languages beyond English and German are in the first draft, and whether any of them will include audio rather than interface and subtitles only. Given that the same patch also carries a full sound rework, in which the team says it will keep the existing voice acting but redo all other audio from scratch, a text-only first pass for the additional languages is the more likely shape. See Roadmap for the wider plan.
