Lady Bee is the leader of the Apix Clan and one of the most powerful enemies you will face early in Farever. She rules in Honeywood, the forested corner of Skover Island dominated by the Hivetree, and her fight is one of the first major boss encounters in the game. She is fought in her own boss instance, a single-boss lair rather than a dungeon to clear.
Lady Bee took control of the Apix Clan after overthrowing her aging mother, Queen Honeyzabeth. With the throne seized, she threw the clan into a fierce resistance against the returning humans, making her a central figure in the conflict over Honeywood. Both she and the deposed queen appear as bosses in the region.
Lady Bee is a multi-phase boss, and the encounter changes substantially as it progresses. Like other Farever bosses, she rewards reading her patterns and coordinating with your group rather than simply trading blows.
In her first phase, Lady Bee targets players with honey bombs. These bombs destroy the honeycomb floor of the arena where they land, steadily shrinking the safe ground you have to stand and fight on. Staying mobile and aware of where the floor is collapsing is the key to surviving this phase, especially with several players spread across the arena.
For her second phase, Lady Bee retreats into a newly formed cocoon. The cocoon cannot be taken down by normal attacks alone: you must use a honey cannon to bring it down, the same kind of cannon used elsewhere in Honeywood. Once the cocoon is destroyed, you finish the job by defeating the remaining royal guards and bringing the queen down for good.
Defeating Lady Bee yields powerful gear and weapons, and some of that loot unlocks brand-new skills to master. As a major early boss, she is a worthwhile target for players looking to make a real step up in their equipment and abilities.
