Port Azurea

Initial version (2026-09-15)
Port Azurea is the second of the three revealed regions in Eternal Anima, and the only one described as floating on the water rather than above it or on solid ground. It is a settlement of drifters afloat on The Forbidden Sea, exposed to nature and to monsters, whose residents live freely as they please off what the sea brings them.
The Japanese name is ポート・アズレア and the Traditional Chinese is 阿茲蕾亞港. The English form Port Azurea comes from the official site's own URL slug for the region. That makes it a strong hint rather than a confirmed English name: the English site is still a where to buy teaser with no world or character section, so nothing has been printed in official English yet. World and Setting records which names in this setting are settled and which are not.
The published description is short and specific. Port Azurea is a settlement of drifters floating on the forbidden sea. Its residents are exposed to the threats of nature and of monsters (魔物). Despite that, they live freely as they please, making use of flotsam and of relics hauled up from the seabed.
The contrast with Urvis Ael is the point of the pairing. The floating city forbids any word or deed leading to change and enforces that with Revision; the floating settlement has no stated law at all, only a leader and a strongly individual population. Official copy does not say how the settlement stays afloat, how large it is, how long it has existed, or whether it moves.
Salvage is the region's defining published activity. Two of its residents work in it directly. Florus is a salvager, introduced under the epithet 海の底に心を残した女, the woman who left her heart on the seabed, and described as sometimes gazing at a past she left at the bottom of the sea. Marsh is the settlement's blacksmith, able to re-forge relics raised from the sea into anything from weapons to household goods.
The automaton M.O.S. is itself a product of that trade. Built long ago on the Rotala Continent, it lay on the seabed for ages before being salvaged and rebooted. One connection worth not making: the protagonist's ability reads the memories dwelling in objects, as described in Psychometry and Anima, and Port Azurea is full of recovered objects, but no official text connects the two. That link is unpublished, however natural it looks.
Seven of the fifteen revealed characters are filed under Port Azurea, the largest of the three regional groups. Unlike the Ambulis cast, none of them carries an era label on the official site, so nothing states which of the game's two eras they belong to. English spellings other than Neria's and M.O.S.'s are site slugs rather than confirmed names; see Characters.

The settlement shares its name with its leader, whose site slug is Azurea. Official copy never says which came first. The character profile describes her as chief of the drifters and leader of the settlement afloat on the Forbidden Sea, and stops there. Whether the place is named after her, or she took her name from the place, or the resemblance is incidental, is simply not published, and should be left as an open question rather than resolved in either direction.
The story copy describes a journey across the past and present of four lost continents; the official world navigation separately lists five region slots, of which Port Azurea is the second. No official text connects the two lists. Port Azurea is described as a settlement afloat on the sea, not as a continent, and it should never be written up as one of the four.
As of 15 September 2026 nothing states the settlement's size, population, construction, age, governance beyond its leader, or whether it serves as a hub in gameplay terms. No era label is attached to it. Nothing published describes how a visitor reaches it, what the survey team surveys, or what kinds of monsters threaten it.
