Revision (リビジオン) is the peacekeeping organisation that keeps order in Urvis Ael, the floating city of Eternal Anima. Very little has been published about it. It is named in the region description and in two character profiles, and that is the whole of the official record as of 15 September 2026. This page sets out what those three passages say and stops there.
The Name and Its Two Forms
The Japanese materials write the organisation in katakana as リビジオン. Revision is the direct reading of that katakana, and it is what the site slug and the English-language shorthand use, but no official English name has been printed anywhere: the English site is still a where to buy teaser with no world section. The Traditional Chinese materials use 肅正隊, which reads closer to a purification corps or rectification squad.
Those two names are not literal equivalents of each other. The Japanese form is a loanword meaning revision or amendment, while the Chinese form describes a body that purges or rectifies. Both are first-party, so neither should be corrected into the other, and the English spelling should be treated as provisional in the same way as the names covered in World and Setting.

Its Function in the City
Urvis Ael holds that living days without change is right, and treats any word or deed leading to evolution or development as a serious crime. Revision is named as the body by which that order is kept, and the same passage says that under its protection the people go on enjoying an unchanging peace. The law itself is the Almighty's, whose stated position is that progress is folly that breeds tragedy; see The Almighty.
Nothing published describes how Revision actually enforces the law: no powers, no procedures, no penalties, no uniforms, no size, no ranks beyond the single title of captain, and no account of what happens to anyone it convicts.
Its Two Named Members
Wade, the protagonist, is described as one of Revision's aces, cool-headed and unflappable. Vallis is captain of its South District and Wade's partner, earnest and caring, supporting Wade both on and off duty, and holding a near-fanatical devotion to the Almighty alongside a regard for the city's order above all else. The existence of a named South District implies further districts, but none is named in any official material, and none should be invented.
Opposition to It
Neria, a warrior of Port Azurea who once escaped Urvis Ael in search of freedom, is said to carry a fierce hatred of the Almighty and of Revision alike. Hers is the only published opposition to the organisation from outside the city.
The Protagonist's Break with It
Wade's awakening of the Psychometry ability, covered in Psychometry and Anima, makes him doubt the false paradise the Almighty built. He is then branded a heretic, hunted, and throws himself into The Forbidden Sea. Official copy does not say who conducts the hunt, does not state that Revision is what pursues him, and does not say whether he resigns, deserts or is expelled. The obvious reading is not the published one, and the gap should be left as it stands.
What Has Not Been Published
As of 15 September 2026 there is no published history of the organisation, no founding, no leadership above the district level, no membership figure, no statement of whether it appears as a gameplay faction or an enemy type, and no indication of whether it operates anywhere other than Urvis Ael. Only one of its districts has been named.
