Fifteen characters were revealed for Eternal Anima at announcement, each with a portrait, an epithet, a home region, a short profile and a Japanese voice credit. This page collects all fifteen, sets out which of their English names are confirmed and which are not, and groups them by the region the official material files them under. As of 15 September 2026 no further cast has been named in text anywhere, although the art book shown in official product photography carries noticeably more portraits than fifteen, so the revealed roster is clearly not the whole cast.
A Note on English Names
Only four names in this roster are confirmed English: Wade, Neria, M.O.S. and the Almighty. The first three appear printed on the character art cards shown in official product photography for the Limited Edition, and the fourth is the wording used in the English synopsis published by Marvelous. Every other English spelling on this page is taken from the official Japanese site's own URL slug for that character. A slug is author supplied and a strong hint, but it is not the same thing as a confirmed shipping name, and the English site is still a where to buy teaser with no character or world section at all. Treat the other eleven spellings as provisional and expect at least some of them to change.
Two slugs actively disagree with their own kana, and both should be flagged rather than repeated uncritically. The slug "eri" stands for エリィ, which transliterates closer to Elly. The slug "marsh" stands for マッシュ, which transliterates closer to Mash. Where slug and kana disagree the kana is the primary text and the slug is the weaker evidence.

The Urvis Ael Group
Three characters are filed under the floating city. Wade is the protagonist, a cool-headed and unflappable ace of the peacekeeping organisation Revision who has no memories from more than three years ago. Vallis captains Revision's South District and is Wade's partner, earnest and caring off duty as well as on, and holds a near-fanatical devotion to the city's ruler along with an absolute regard for its order. The Almighty is that ruler, worshipped by his people, credited with rare charisma and intellect, and said to have lived a thousand years.
The official site attaches no era label to this group, unlike the Ambulis cast below, so nothing in the published material states which era these three belong to.
The Port Azurea Group
Seven characters are filed under the drifting settlement, the largest of the three groups. Azurea leads it, and her bold nature and unshakeable self-belief are credited with winning trust from a strongly individual population. Neria is a warrior and captain of the settlement's survey team, a former resident of the floating city who escaped it and carries a fierce hatred of its ruler and of Revision. M.O.S. is a mechanical doll built long ago on the Rotala Continent and salvaged from the seabed after ages underwater.
The remaining four fill out the settlement's working life. Eri researches history and science and is described as so intensely curious that she stops noticing the world once she starts thinking. Florus is a salvager whose eyes sometimes gaze at a past she left at the bottom of the sea, and who bickers constantly with Marsh. Marsh is the blacksmith, able to re-forge relics hauled up from the sea into anything from weapons to household goods, and hates sitting still. Samolus is a skilled angler, not talkative, but credited with an uncountable supply of cryptic philosophical one-liners. As with the city group, no era label is attached to any of them.
The Ambulis Group and Its Era Split
Ambulis is the only region whose cast the official site divides by era, and it does so explicitly with separate past and present headings. Both groups live in Tarini Village.
Era | Character | What the profile says |
|---|---|---|
Past | Martii | A young man of Tarini Village and a self-declared naturalist who practises his own invented method of thought. He is in discord with Rubin, the tradition-bound man who raised him, and sets out to verify the truth behind the old legends with his own eyes. |
Past | Rose | Rubin's biological daughter, raised alongside Martii like a sister since childhood. Kind, dependable and forever looking after him. |
Past | Rubin | Chief of Tarini Village, which lives in symbiosis with nature. As Guardian of the Forest he honours tradition and has protected the village and its people for many years. |
Present | Mayaca | Martii's descendant, a girl who has inherited the mission of Guardian of the Forest. Versed in herb compounding and the art of prayer, but weighed down by her great ancestor's name and unable to trust herself after days that never go as she hopes. |
Present | Capuron | Leader of the village youth corps and a thoroughgoing realist who puts reality ahead of feeling. He is losing the ability to place any hope in the repeatedly failing Mayaca. |
A Shared Voice Credit Across Eras
Martii in the past and Mayaca in the present are voiced by the same actor, 諸星 すみれ (Sumire Morohoshi), and the profiles state outright that Mayaca is Martii's descendant. That pairing lines up with a published feature of the game, which describes teaming up with ancestors and descendants across time and empowering allies with the abilities of their ancestors. It is the clearest published example of how the cast is meant to work across the two eras covered by Time Travel.
What Has Not Been Published
As of 15 September 2026 the following are absent from every official surface. No English voice cast has been announced, even though English audio is listed on every specification block. No ages, no heights, no party roles and no starting classes are given for anybody, so nothing can be said about who is playable or how anyone fights beyond what Classes and Skills describes in general terms. Beyond Martii and Mayaca, no further family or ancestral pairings are stated. The two unrevealed regions on the official world navigation carry no cast at all, and neither do the four lost continents named in the story copy.
