Expanded Wool stub with verified sheep sources, processing chain into Wool Yarn and Velvet, and notes on colored wool variants from sheep breeding.
Wool is an animal product in Starsand Island harvested from sheep varieties at your ranch. It is the foundation of the textile crafting chain and the source of Velvet, the premium fabric used in advanced clothing and decoration recipes.
Snowool (Intermediate Rancher, 650 Coins). Produces white wool by default.
Ebowool (Intermediate Rancher, 650 Coins). Produces black wool by default.
Colored sheep variants. Six colored sheep variants (Blue Sheep, Cyan Sheep, Green Sheep, Orange Sheep, Purple Sheep, Red Sheep, Yellow Sheep) produce matching colored wool through Selective Breeding House mechanics.
Sheep grow wool on a daily cycle. Use the Brush blueprint daily to maintain affection, then shear when wool is ready. The Auto Shearer (Expert Rancher blueprint, 15,000 Coins) automates the shearing step entirely, removing manual collection from your daily routine.
Wool Yarn. Made at the Spinning Wheel from Wool. Used in clothing crafting and textile recipes.
Velvet fabric. Made at the Loom from Wool Yarn. The premium fabric used in advanced clothing, furniture, and vehicle recipes.
Colored fabrics. Colored wool produces colored Velvet, allowing matching themed outfits or decoration sets.
Selling. Wool sells at a respectable per-unit price, with colored wool fetching higher rates than basic Snowool/Ebowool wool.
Sewing Table recipes. Many clothing and accessory blueprints from Lunelle at Ethereal Styles require Wool or Velvet.
Build the Auto Shearer ASAP. Daily manual shearing is tedious. The Auto Shearer recovers its cost quickly through saved time.
Stockpile colored wool deliberately. Specific clothing recipes may need particular colors. Plan your sheep breeding around the colors you want.
Process to Velvet for storage. Velvet has a higher unit value and takes up the same inventory space, so processing wool down the chain saves storage.
Pair with Loom upgrades. The Loom needs to be unlocked through Crafter progression. Plan around the recipe before stockpiling raw Wool.
