Tornado Kick can be unlocked in two ways. The first is by spending 1 Abyss Artifact in Damiane's Stamina (Blue) skill tree under the Unarmed Combat category. The second is through the Watch and Learn system, where the screen darkens during combat and a "Learning in Progress" prompt appears in the top-left corner while observing an enemy perform the technique.
Tornado Kick performs a powerful spinning kick that sends the targeted enemy flying. The rotational momentum of the kick generates significant force, making it effective for knocking enemies away and creating distance. As an Unarmed Combat skill, it can be used while Damiane's weapons are sheathed.
The skill costs Stamina to perform and shares the Unarmed Combat category with other physical strikes like Scissor Kick and Flying Kick. Tornado Kick is notable for its knockback effect, which can reposition enemies or push them into environmental hazards.
Tornado Kick requires 1 Abyss Artifact to unlock through the skill tree, or it can be learned via Watch and Learn. The spinning motion hits in an arc, making it effective against enemies approaching from the side. It pairs well with Scissor Kick and Flurry of Kicks for a full unarmed combo chain.
Tornado Kick is an excellent crowd-control tool. Use the spinning motion to hit enemies who are flanking or approaching from the side.
The knockback sends enemies flying, which is especially useful near cliffs or ledges for environmental kills.
Chain Tornado Kick with Scissor Kick for back-to-back unarmed strikes that keep enemies off balance.
Since respecs cost a Faded Abyss Artifact, make sure you want this skill before spending the Abyss Artifact to unlock it.
Tornado Kick pairs well with Damiane's hit-and-run playstyle: kick enemies away, then switch to ranged attacks while they recover.
Scissor Kick: Damiane's default cross-legged strike.
Pump Kick: A powerful two-footed kick available to all characters.
Flying Kick: An aerial double-kick unlocked at Unarmed Combat Lv. 4.
Dropkick: A forward lunge kick that sends enemies flying.
Watch for opportunities to learn this skill by observing NPCs or enemies using it in combat.
Keep an eye on your Stamina bar when using this skill repeatedly; running out mid-combo leaves you vulnerable.
