Tiger Fang Ring is a legendary ring in Crimson Desert obtained as a reward for defeating the White Tiger, one of the 24 legendary animals found across Pywel. The ring is notable for having more base attack power than most other rings in the game, making it an attractive choice for players building around raw damage output. However, it does not provide any attack speed bonuses, which means players who rely on fast combo-based playstyles may prefer alternatives.

The Tiger Fang Ring drops from the White Tiger, a legendary predator located in the jungle south of the White Scaled Crocodile spawn, near Demeniss. The White Tiger is northeast of Demeniss and southwest of the Red River. To reveal the White Tiger's location on the map, you must first defeat Black Fang and use Leebur's Soul from your inventory. Alternatively, you can obtain a Sighting Document from merchants at 100 trust to locate the White Tiger without completing the Black Fang questline.
Because the White Tiger is a predator, it appears as a red dot on your minimap when you are within detection range, making it easier to locate than legendary herbivores.
The White Tiger is an aggressive legendary predator with a large health pool and fast attack patterns. It is capable of rapid lunging strikes and wide sweeping claw attacks that cover a large area.
Fire damage: As with all animals in Crimson Desert, fire is extremely effective. Fire attacks will cause the tiger to drop and roll on the ground, providing several seconds of uninterrupted damage.
Dodge sideways: The White Tiger's lunging attacks have significant forward reach. Dodge to the side rather than backward to avoid follow-up strikes.
Bring healing items: Stock Braised Meat or Meat Skewers. The tiger hits hard and can chain attacks quickly.
Recommended level: Chapter 6 or later is recommended. The Demeniss jungle area has high-level enemies.
The Tiger Fang Ring stands out among rings for its high base attack stat. In a direct comparison with other legendary rings, the Tiger Fang Ring delivers more raw damage per hit. This makes it a strong choice for builds that emphasize heavy single strikes, such as greatsword or spear builds where each individual hit matters more than attack frequency.
The tradeoff is the absence of any attack speed bonus. Rings like the White Lion Necklace (which provides both attack and critical rate) or rings with attack speed may outperform the Tiger Fang Ring for fast-hitting weapon types like dual swords or rapid combo playstyles. Evaluate your build before committing to this ring.
The Tiger Fang Ring is not a direct quest reward and it is not an inventory drop. It only enters the bag when the player skins the White Tiger's corpse with the standard interact prompt. If you defeat the tiger and leave the area without harvesting the carcass, the corpse despawns and the ring is lost for that spawn cycle. Always skin before fast travelling, before the next Abyss Nexus jump, or before any animation that locks the camera away from the body.
The White Tiger sits at the legendary spawn east of the Hernand label and just north of the mineral-rich plateau, in the same clearing as the standard tigers that share the den. Bandits camp on the same plateau, so the area is hostile on first approach. Capture the camp first (kill the bandits and let the fort-capture banner play out), then begin the tiger encounter. If a fort-capture banner triggers while the player is mounted on the tiger or feeding it for special mounts registration, the tiger can despawn permanently for the session, which is why a save before the approach is recommended.
Step | Action | Why |
|---|---|---|
1 | Hard save in the open before riding into the plateau. | Restores the spawn if a fort-capture animation eats the legendary. |
2 | Clear all bandits on the plateau and let the fort-capture animation play out fully. | Prevents the capture trigger from firing later while the tiger is on the ground. |
3 | Defeat the White Tiger first, ahead of the surrounding standard tigers. | The ring corpse stays available for skinning while the player handles the smaller cats. |
4 | Walk to the White Tiger's corpse and press the interact button to skin. | Awards the Tiger Fang Ring along with the standard tiger pelt and meat drops. |
5 | Move on to the standard tigers, leaving exactly one alive for the Force Palm stun and Take In sequence if a tiger mount is also wanted. | Light attacks only on this pass so the surviving tiger does not die to a stray power attack. |
6 | Confirm the ring is in the inventory before any fast travel. | Once the area unloads the corpse is gone, even if the spawn later resets. |
Carry three to four pieces of meat into the encounter if the goal is to walk away with both the ring and the tiger mount. Fine meat, bird meat, or any cut of meat works as feed once the surviving tiger is stunned by repeated Force Palm strikes. The mount registers through the new special mounts tab after the Take In prompt fires.
Confirm the corpse is the larger, paler White Tiger and not one of the standard tigers in the same clearing. Standard tigers do not drop the ring.
Stand directly on the body and rotate the camera until the skin prompt appears. The hitbox can be obstructed by the surrounding rocks at the legendary spawn.
If a banner animation fired during the kill and the tiger vanished, reload the pre-approach save instead of waiting for a respawn. The spawn cycle on this legendary is long.
Avoid using Leebur's Soul a second time on the same trip if it puts the player back onto another legendary marker before the ring has been collected.
