Overview

Rampaging Infinite Arrows is an Abyss Gear in Crimson Desert that provides a percentage chance to not consume arrows when firing a bow. The gear is initially earned as a reward from the Sealed Abyss Artifact system by completing the Bow Aimed at Fate V challenge. However, the real power of Infinite Arrow cores comes from stacking them to reach 100% total, which means every arrow fired is free. This mechanic forms the foundation of the popular Infinite Archer build, one of the strongest ranged setups in the game.

At lower percentages, such as 80%, players will still run out of arrows during sustained fire. Reaching the full 100% threshold is essential for builds that rely on continuous arrow spam, because even a small gap in coverage leads to ammunition depletion during boss fights or prolonged encounters.

How to Obtain

There are two ways to obtain Rampaging Infinite Arrows cores. The first is through the Sealed Abyss Artifact challenge system, and the second is through Special Synthesis at a Witch.

Sealed Abyss Artifact Challenge

The initial Rampaging Infinite Arrows core is unlocked after completing the Bow Aimed at Fate V challenge. This requires taking down 5 enemies at once from over 20 meters away using a bow. The Sealed Abyss Artifact for this challenge is located south of Beighen, in the Demeniss region, sitting on a small shrine.

Visit any Witch and navigate to Craft Abyss Gear, then select the third tab for Special Synthesis. This process combines two Abyss Gear pieces to produce a random core from the entire pool of possible outcomes.

Because Special Synthesis generates a random result, the chance of getting an Infinite Arrow core on any given attempt is relatively low. The pool includes many different Abyss Gear types, so players often need multiple attempts before landing the specific core they want.

Infinite Arrow Core Tiers

Infinite Arrow cores come in three tiers, each providing an increasing chance to not consume arrows when firing. Two cores can be equipped simultaneously across your gear to stack their percentages.

To reach 100%, players need to equip two cores whose percentages add up to at least 100. Common combinations include:

Upgrading Through Synthesis

Regular Synthesis (not Special Synthesis) allows you to combine two identical-tier Infinite Arrow cores into a single core of the next tier. This is done at any Witch under the Craft Abyss Gear menu. For example, combining two Tier 1 Infinite Arrow cores produces one Tier 2 core, and combining two Tier 2 cores produces one Tier 3 core.

The practical path to 100% involves gathering multiple lower-tier cores through Special Synthesis, then fusing them upward through regular Synthesis until you have the right combination. A typical progression looks like this:

1. Use Special Synthesis repeatedly to obtain Tier 1 Infinite Arrow cores.

2. Fuse pairs of Tier 1 cores into Tier 2 cores using regular Synthesis.

3. Continue fusing Tier 2 cores to create Tier 3 cores.

4. Equip one Tier 3 (60%) and one Tier 2 (40%) for the minimum 100% total, or two Tier 3 cores for comfortable overcap.

Save Scumming Strategy

Because Special Synthesis produces a random result from a large pool, many players use save scumming to speed up the process. The strategy is straightforward: create a manual save before performing Special Synthesis, check the result, and reload the save if you did not get an Infinite Arrow core. This eliminates the cost of failed attempts, since you get your materials back on reload.

Expect the full process of reaching 100% to take roughly 1 to 3 hours of save scumming, depending on luck. Players who are comfortable with this approach save a significant amount of resources compared to burning through Abyss Gear on pure random rolls.

• Step 1: Gather surplus Abyss Gear pieces you are willing to sacrifice for Special Synthesis.

• Step 2: Create a manual save at the Witch.

• Step 3: Perform Special Synthesis. If the result is an Infinite Arrow core, keep it and save again.

• Step 4: If the result is something else, reload your save and try again.

• Step 5: Once you have enough Tier 1 cores, fuse them upward through regular Synthesis to reach Tier 2 and Tier 3.

Role in the Infinite Archer Build

Rampaging Infinite Arrows at 100% is the cornerstone of the Infinite Archer build, widely considered one of the most powerful setups in Crimson Desert. With ammunition no longer a constraint, players can spam their strongest arrow types nonstop without ever needing to resupply or swap to weaker alternatives.

The build pairs especially well with the Golden Knotted Ancestral Bow or other high-tier bows, and benefits enormously from using explosive arrows. Because you only need a single explosive arrow in your inventory (the 100% core ensures it never gets consumed), the build turns every shot into an AoE explosion with heavy stun buildup.

Explosive Arrows vs. Poison Arrows

When running the Infinite Archer build, explosive arrows are significantly stronger than poison arrows against bosses. Explosive arrows deal area-of-effect damage and build stun much faster, which creates openings for additional damage. Poison arrows apply damage over time but lack the burst potential and crowd control that explosive arrows provide.

With 100% Infinite Arrows active, you only need one explosive arrow in your inventory. Since the core prevents that arrow from being consumed, you effectively have an unlimited supply of explosions on every shot.

Where to Buy Explosive Arrows

Explosive arrows can be purchased from the black market vendor in Deep Fog Basin, in the town of Paloon. Stock up on at least one before heading into boss fights, though with the Infinite Arrows core at 100%, a single arrow is technically all you ever need.

• Attack Power cores: Raw damage increase on every shot multiplies well with infinite ammunition.

• High-tier bows: The Golden Knotted Ancestral Bow offers strong base damage that benefits from never having downtime on attacks.

• Stamina management gear: Sustained bow fire drains stamina. Cores or equipment that reduce stamina consumption keep you shooting longer.
