Quick Reload is a default skill for Damiane in the Stamina (Blue) skill tree. It can also be learned through the Watch and Learn system by observing the technique in action during combat. As a passive skill, Quick Reload has no activation cost.
Quick Reload is a passive skill that reduces the time it takes to reload Damiane's firearms after firing. Since Damiane's combat style heavily incorporates pistol and musket attacks alongside her rapier strikes, faster reloading translates directly into higher sustained ranged damage output.
The skill applies to all of Damiane's firearm attacks, including her standard shots and any elemental or special ammunition types. Because it is passive, Quick Reload is always active once unlocked and does not consume any resources.
As a passive skill, Quick Reload is always active once learned and has no Spirit or Stamina cost. The reload speed reduction applies to all of Damiane's firearm attacks, including standard pistol shots, Charged Shot, and any elemental ammunition types. The faster reload directly increases Damiane's sustained damage output during prolonged encounters.
Quick Reload supports a hit-and-run playstyle where Damiane fires her pistol, reloads quickly, and follows up with more shots or closes in for melee attacks.
Pair Quick Reload with Shield Toss for sustained ranged pressure from multiple angles.
The faster reload time minimizes the vulnerability window during which Damiane cannot attack or defend while reloading.
Combine with Damiane's Marksmanship skills to maximize overall ranged damage output.
In boss fights, Quick Reload allows you to squeeze in more shots during narrow damage windows between boss attack patterns.
Shield Toss: Damiane's bouncing shield projectile for ranged crowd control.
Scatter Shot: Oongka's spread-fire ranged attack for comparison.

Practice using Quick Reload against weaker enemies before relying on it in boss fights.
This skill has low or no resource cost, making it reliable in extended fights.
Quick Reload is only added to Damiane's tree through the Watch and Learn system, and the specific NPCs that trigger it are the musketeers stationed at the Musket Outpost in the far north of Demeniss. Before Chapter 11, the outpost is occupied by the friendly army that supports you during the chapter, and the musketeers just outside the fort walls openly aim and reload their weapons on a loop. Switch to Damiane, approach them with your Focus vision active, and confirm the observation prompt; the skill unlocks on the spot with no other prerequisites.
This is a one-time window. Once Chapter 11 is completed the friendly force pulls out of the Musket Outpost and the observable musketeers are no longer there, which means Watch and Learn can no longer be triggered for Quick Reload. No other NPC in the game performs the animation, so missing this step on a given save locks the skill out for the rest of that playthrough. Any player approaching Chapter 10 or 11 with Damiane should detour to the outpost first; the observation takes only a minute or two.
If the skill was missed and the save is already past Chapter 11, the loss is minor rather than game-breaking. Damiane's reload animation can be cancelled entirely by the Evasive Shot dash. Tapping the dodge twice mid-aim chains a sidestep into an immediate follow-up shot, and the dash itself overrides the reload animation, so a fully stamina-fed Damiane can keep firing without ever playing the reload frames. Pair this with Charged Focus Shot for burst windows, and the lack of Quick Reload mostly disappears in sustained fights. Keyboard and mouse players can hold aim, spam the dodge input, and tap the attack button at the end of each dash for the fastest version of this rotation.
