Overview

The Orange is a fruit tree crop in Starsand Island, grown from an Orange Sapling. Orange trees are unlocked at the Intermediate Farmer tier and available from the Happiness Seed Shop. Oranges share the same fast growth time and cost as apples, making them one of the most accessible fruit trees.

Growing Details

Orange Saplings grow during Spring and Winter, complementing Apple trees which grow in Summer and Autumn. Together, these two fruit trees provide year-round fruit production.

Uses

• Cooking: Oranges are used in cooking recipes including juices and desserts

• Jam Making: Process oranges into Orange Jam at the Jam Maker

• Fruit Pulp: Oranges can be processed into Fruit Pulp at the Separator for animal feed

• Selling: Sell oranges directly or through Bulletin Board requests

• Gifting: Some NPCs appreciate fresh oranges as gifts

Tips

• At 8.5 days growth time and 4 per harvest, oranges offer the same excellent value as apples.

• Orange trees grow in Spring and Winter while apple trees grow in Summer and Autumn; planting both ensures year-round fruit.

• The 450 coin sapling cost is the lowest among all fruit trees, making oranges ideal for early investment.
