Gloves

Correct the directory size, occupied gears and acquired-stat universals while retaining all thirty entries.
Gloves are one of five Armor slots in Crimson Desert. Unlike headgear and body armor, gloves provide both attack and defense bonuses, making them a critical piece of offensive equipment. Gloves also offer secondary effects such as attack speed, critical hit chance, and movement speed. Socket information must be checked per item: occupied Abyss Core slots are not a universal empty-slot or maximum-capacity rule. Many records show ten refinement levels at the blacksmith.

Every pair of gloves in Crimson Desert grants an attack bonus alongside its defensive stats. This makes the glove slot uniquely important for builds focused on damage output. The earlier 9-to-15 Attack and 1-to-4 Defense ranges do not cover the retained table, which already includes higher acquisition values. Gloves and footwear can provide Attack, but the effect on a drawn weapon must be tested separately. Recorded glove curves can be checked at a blacksmith in Hernand. The character stats screen shows the combined attack and defense contributions from all equipped gloves.
The table retains 30 glove entries, not a complete five-item catalog. Stats mix acquisition snapshots and incomplete older values rather than a uniform +0 census. Prices and sources remain older references unless a specific current record confirms them.

The older Reins of Open Sky row had shifted fields and an untyped 2. The corrected row uses the separate item record, while retaining the untyped value as unverified rather than a price or slot maximum. Its separate glove record starts at Attack 15/Defense 5/Critical Rate Lv.1 and reaches Attack 31/Defense 16/Critical Rate Lv.2. Its Quick Slot skill reduces slipping while holding Climb. The older 11/3 display and Arbodia Spider Cave route remain separate unresolved references. Other table prices, starting-loadout claims and global glove-versus-main-weapon damage formulas are inherited notes, not independently established by these item records.
Gloves are one of two armor slots (along with footwear) that provide direct attack bonuses. The Hernand Ceremonial Guard Gloves have an older Attack 15 acquisition display and a 15 Contribution quote, not a verified universal highest base Attack. The Ynitium Leather Gloves sit at the lower end with 9 attack but come free as starting equipment.

Several gloves boost critical hit chance. The Demenissian Uniform Leather Gloves stand out with Critical Hit Chance Lv.2, the highest critical bonus among all known gloves. The Hernand Ceremonial Guard Gloves and Ynitium Leather Gloves each grant Critical Hit Chance Lv.1.
The Canta Plate Gloves have an older Attack Speed Lv.1 claim that conflicts with their separate item record, which lists none. Sunset Reed Cloth Gloves positively list Attack Speed Lv.1, and Tariv Cloth Gloves list Lv.2 at +0 and Lv.3 at +10. The older price of 2.22 Silver is an earlier Hernand Equipment shop quote. Its older notes also list two Abyss Core slots; compare the actual item.
Check the occupied gear list and actual slot interface for each pair; a record of two installed gears does not establish two additional empty slots. The Sunset Reed Cloth Gloves list Slashing Reeds and Vitality I as two occupied gears. Their Health recovery comes from Vitality I; the older +1.0/sec amount is not independently established here, and both occupied slots are not also empty.

All gloves can be upgraded through 10 refinement levels at the blacksmith in Hernand. Each refinement level raises both the attack and defense stats of the gloves. Higher refinement levels require progressively rarer materials and Abyss Artifacts. Because gloves provide both offensive and defensive stats, refining them gives a dual benefit that no other armor slot can match. Prioritize refining whichever gloves you plan to keep for the long term, as materials become expensive at higher levels.
Two pairs of gloves are given to the player as starting equipment depending on the character chosen at the start of the game:
Ynitium Leather Gloves: Equipped by default as Kliff's starting gear. Provides Critical Hit Chance Lv.1 and Lightning Resistance Lv.1. At 9 Attack and 1 Defense, these are the weakest gloves statistically, but they serve as a solid foundation until better options become available.
Demenissian Uniform Leather Gloves: Part of Damiane's starting loadout. These gloves grant Critical Hit Chance Lv.2 (the highest critical bonus among all gloves) along with Lightning Resistance Lv.1. They also provide the Demenissian Faction Disguise, letting the player pass as a Demenissian soldier. With 13 Attack and 4 Defense, they are among the strongest gloves in the game right from the start.
Prioritize gloves with critical hit chance if your build relies on burst damage from weapons with high base damage per hit. The Demenissian Uniform Leather Gloves offer Critical Hit Chance Lv.2, making them the strongest option for crit-focused builds.
Sunset Reed Cloth Gloves list Attack Speed Lv.1 with Slashing Reeds and Vitality I installed. The older Movement Speed and +1.0/sec claims should not be treated as that recorded profile.
The Hernand Ceremonial Guard Gloves have an older 15 Attack/4 Defense acquisition display and Contribution price quote. They do not establish the highest combined stats among the thirty retained entries or all refinement levels.
The earlier Canta Attack Speed Lv.1 claim conflicts with its separate item record. Sunset Reed provides a recorded Lv.1 Attack Speed counterexample to the earlier only-Canta claim, while Tariv Cloth Gloves list Lv.2 to Lv.3.
Compare item-specific refinement curves, acquired cards, occupied gears and current slot capacity. Do not treat all thirty entries as five pairs with two universally empty slots.
If you are playing as Damiane, her starting Demenissian Uniform Leather Gloves are strong enough to last well into the mid-game. Consider investing refinement materials into them early rather than replacing them.
Gloves and boots are internally treated as their own weapon type (the unarmed weapon used when you punch or kick). Stats like attack and crit rolled on a glove or boot item buff unarmed damage, not the one-handed or two-handed weapon you have drawn. The practical rule: if your main-hand damage is what you care about, do not chase attack rolls on gloves, and do not pay for crit lines on them either.
The two stats on gloves that do apply to your main weapon are Attack Speed and Movement Speed. Attack speed in particular is easy to verify: open the character sheet with your main weapon drawn, unequip a pair of six-attack-speed gloves, and the sheet drops by six. Plate gloves roll strong defense and attack but the attack is wasted for main-weapon damage, while cloth gloves typically give movement speed instead. Pick the glove type whose non-offensive stats you actually want (defense, attack speed, movement speed) and ignore the raw attack number unless you specifically plan to fight unarmed.
