Fishing Dock Vendors are a specialized category of merchant found at docks, waterfronts, and coastal settlements across Pywel. They are the go-to destination for buying and selling fish, and every fishing dock vendor carries at least one Fishing Rod in their inventory. Beyond gear, these vendors stock large fish inventories spanning dozens of species, making them useful both for players selling their catch and for those looking to purchase specific fish for cooking recipes.

There are 17 confirmed fishing dock vendor locations spread across the major regions of Pywel. Vendor inventories typically run between 59 and 62 items per shop, with common freshwater fish priced as low as 27 copper and rare or legendary specimens reaching 300 copper or more. All vendors buy back fish at their listed prices, so fishing dock merchants also serve as a reliable source of income when you have surplus catch.

Haverford (Crimson Desert Fishing Dock)

The Crimson Desert Fishing Dock near Haverford is the most prominent fishing hub in the game and the one most players encounter early in the story. With 59 items in stock, it is one of the best places to purchase a Fishing Rod before heading to the Nas River or nearby coastal waters. The dock also serves as a natural sell point for players finishing a fishing session in the Haverford area.

Delesyia (4 Locations)

The Delesyia region hosts four fishing dock vendors. Alexius and Finard are the two named merchants; the others operate at secondary dock positions along the Delesyia waterfront. Finard carries the largest inventory of the four at 62 items. The cluster of four vendors makes Delesyia one of the most fish-rich shopping destinations in Pywel, useful when stocking up on specific saltwater fish for advanced cooking.

Demeniss (3 Locations)

The Demeniss docks are anchored by Cedric, who runs a 62-item inventory. Two additional vendors at secondary positions round out the three Demeniss fishing locations. Players completing story content in the Demeniss region will find these vendors convenient for restocking rods and selling fish without traveling far from the active quest area.

Hernand (4 Locations)

With four fishing dock vendors, Hernand ties with Delesyia as the region with the most fishing merchant coverage. Fulbert operates the primary dock with 62 items. The other three vendors at Hernand carry between 59 and 61 items each. If you are fishing the rivers and lakes around Hernand City, these vendors offer an efficient turnaround for selling your catch and buying replacement rods.

Pailune (3 Locations)

The Pailune fishing docks are served by three vendors, led by Mirabel with a 62-item inventory. The remaining two Pailune vendors carry 59 and 60 items respectively. Pailune's coastal position makes it a natural stop when fishing the waters of its surrounding region.

Silvermoon Trade Collective

The Silvermoon Trade Collective maintains a single fishing dock vendor with 59 items in stock. The Silvermoon Trade Collective is a merchant faction with a broader focus on trade across Pywel, and the fishing vendor here is part of their wider commercial operation. This vendor is useful for players moving through Silvermoon territory who need to restock rods or cash out a fishing haul.

Stjar Clan

The Stjar Clan operates a single fishing dock vendor with 59 items. Access to this vendor may be affected by your faction standing with the Stjar. Once you have earned enough trust or completed the relevant story quests, the vendor becomes a standard fishing dock stop with a full selection of rods and fish.

Fishing Rods at Dock Vendors

Every fishing dock vendor carries at least one Fishing Rod priced at 15 copper. The basic rod is the entry-level tool needed to start the fishing minigame. It is not particularly durable, so buying several at a time from a nearby dock vendor before a long fishing session is recommended. Higher-grade rods such as the Fine Rod and the Pororin Rod require different acquisition methods and are not typically sold at fishing dock vendors. Fish Pricing

Fish prices at dock vendors scale with the rarity and size of the species. The exact price of any given fish depends on its tier. The general price brackets are shown in the table below. These are the buy prices you pay when purchasing fish from a vendor; sell prices you receive when selling fish back to the vendor match these figures.

Selling fish directly to dock vendors is one of the simplest ways to generate copper and silver in the early and mid game. For the best income per fish caught, focus on rare-tier fish from coastal and deep-water spots, then sell to whichever dock vendor is closest to your current location.

Tips

• Buy rods in bulk. Fishing Rods degrade with use. Since every dock vendor stocks them at 15 copper each, buy five to ten at a time before a long session so you never run out mid-catch.

• Use dock vendors as sell points. Rather than holding fish in your inventory until you reach a city, sell your catch to the nearest dock vendor immediately. Fish are heavy and inventory space fills up quickly.

• Multiple vendors per region means shorter travel. In regions like Hernand (4 vendors) and Delesyia (4 vendors), you are rarely more than a short ride from a dock vendor. Plan your fishing routes to end near a dock for easy selling.

• Check inventory for rare fish. If you need a specific rare fish for a cooking recipe but cannot find it in the wild, check dock vendor inventories. Vendors sometimes stock rare species that you can purchase outright instead of fishing for them.

• Stjar Clan access may require progression. If the Stjar Clan vendor is locked, complete the relevant story or faction quests to open up access before expecting to trade there.

• Restock time is in-game midnight. Like most vendors in Crimson Desert, fishing dock vendor inventories reset at in-game midnight (0:00). If a specific item is out of stock, wait for the next restock cycle.

• Cook fish before selling for better returns. Raw fish sell at the prices listed above, but cooking them into grilled fish, fish stew, or other dishes can significantly increase the value of your haul. The cook-then-sell pipeline is one of the most efficient low-risk ways to generate copper and silver in the early and mid game. If you are near a cooking fire or camp, process your catch before heading to the dock vendor.
