Cloud Castle Orbian is a main quest in Crimson Desert and the eighth and final mission of Chapter 11: Truth and Reality, concluding the Foreboding Shadow sub-chapter. It is one of the most visually spectacular sequences in the game. Kliff mounts Blackstar and launches an aerial assault on the Flying Fortress Orbian, a massive Abyss-powered structure hovering above Delesyia. The quest is divided into three distinct phases: the dragon siege, interior puzzles, and a final boss encounter against the Disc of Light.

Riding Blackstar, approach the fortress and destroy its outer weaponry and defensive turrets using the dragon's fire breath (R2) and fireballs (R1). The turrets are marked on your HUD. Destroy all marked targets while dodging the fortress's anti-air projectiles. Use the barrel roll (Circle/B) to avoid concentrated fire.
Focus on turrets first, then secondary defenses. Turrets deal the most damage to Blackstar.
Fire breath (R2) is better for clustered targets; fireballs (R1) are better for precision hits on individual turrets.
Blackstar's stamina regenerates in the air, so you can use abilities freely.
After dismounting inside the fortress, you navigate through three puzzle sections.
Pierce the central console with your sword and spin it to reveal an empty passageway to the next level.
Scale the metal grate walls, defeat three guards, then use Force Palm jumps or climbing to reach the roof. Locate and destroy five to six green glass bulbs marked on your map. Destroy the central console on the roof to open a side platform.
Use Axiom Force and Energy Surge to open the rotating door, then quickly mantle on the edge of the door as it spins to pass through.
The final boss is the Disc of Light, a spinning disc of energy that is invulnerable until stunned. Use Force Palm and Energy Surge to stun the boss in place. Once stunned, it becomes vulnerable to all damage.
Use Force Palm and Energy Surge to stun the Disc of Light. Without stunning it first, your attacks deal zero damage.
Once stunned, switch to ranged attacks. Arrows deal the most efficient damage during the vulnerability window.
Critical: You must have arrows for this fight. If you run out, the fight is essentially impossible. Bring at least 50 arrows.
The disc spins faster and deals more damage as its health decreases. Stay mobile and keep your distance between stun windows.
Stock up on arrows before starting this quest. The boss fight requires them. If you run out, you must leave and return, repeating the puzzles.
Bring your strongest Abyss Gear into the fortress. Enemy resistances favor Abyss-enhanced equipment.
The green glass bulbs in the climbing section are easy to miss. Check your map frequently for remaining markers.
After the boss, a major cutscene transitions to Chapter 12. Make sure you are satisfied with your equipment before entering the fortress.
