Added Hacking and Crafting skills, per-skill EXP framing, and crafting-stations link
Life skills are the cozy, productive side of Soulbound: Online, and they are not just flavor: every life skill feeds back into your progression. They run in the shared overworld and supply the materials behind crafting and base building and the player economy.
Skill | What It Does |

The studio also describes brewing potions as part of the loop. Cooking restoring stamina, gathering unlocking crafting materials, and mining unlocking crafting stations are the clearest examples of how each skill connects back to power in combat.
Because the economy is player-driven, the goods you produce have value to other players as well as to your own character. Investing in life skills is a path to both self-sufficiency and trade, alongside the gear progression covered on Gear and Cosmetics.
Beyond the cozy gathering skills, two more skills round out the loop. Hacking uses a dedicated tool to break hacking nodes placed around the world. Crafting is an artisanal skill that turns gathered materials into the components used to forge gear, and like every skill it levels up to unlock new recipes.

Each skill keeps its own experience pool and gates which gear you can equip or which materials you can gather and craft, so leveling skills is part of overall progression rather than a side activity. The materials and food you produce also feed your crafting stations.
