Dungeons in Chrono Odyssey test combat skills and coordination with other players. Each dungeon has specific themes and puzzle-driven mechanics designed for teamwork. While some dungeons can be soloed at higher levels, they're designed for group play.

Chrono Gates
Chrono Gates are special encounters where players face extremely challenging opponents in 1v1 arena battles. The first Chrono Gate appears early in the game and has defeated many testers.
Players who defeat Chrono Gate bosses can capture their souls and summon them as temporary allies using the Chronotector. Every strike and dodge demands sharp timing and precision.
Eden
Eden is an endless PvEvP extraction mode. Players fight through regions, earn loot, and must safely extract before other players or the timer cause them to lose everything.
Unlike normal PvP zones, Chronotector abilities remain usable in Eden. The greater the risk, the higher the potential reward.
Tip: Extract early if your Eden Key nears capacity to avoid losing all loot.
Eden was not included in the June 2025 closed beta test.
Trials and Labyrinths
Trials are solo, replayable dungeons mixing combat with puzzles. Every run is randomized for variety.
Labyrinths are puzzle-rich mazes with platforms, switches, and symbols to match. The challenge involves navigating to the center and exit, often unlocking hidden treasures.
Gear Requirements
Mythic content requires gear scores of 500-580
Higher-end content requires 580+ gear score
Raids require level cap and prerequisite dungeons
Chrono Gates And NPC Supporters
Solo PvE content in Chrono Odyssey is anchored by Chrono Gates, boss encounters that drop Specter summons used in later content. Starting with the first Chrono Gate, players who hit difficulty spikes have the option to challenge encounters alongside an NPC Supporter. Chrono Studio has described the Supporter system as a difficulty buffer for players experiencing sudden spikes within the non-linear progression, not a permanent companion or party member. Supporters are independent of any guild or party system and apply specifically to solo boss content.
Group Content
Beyond solo Chrono Gates, group PvE includes 3-player Dungeons (instanced expeditions), Labyrinths (puzzle dungeons designed around the Chronotector abilities), Void Nexus encounters (5-player corruption zones), Raids (10-player endgame), and large-scale World Bosses that can involve a hundred players or more.
