Violet

Added her Japanese name, corrected the note about where the cast pairing is confirmed, and recorded that she is audible only to Emma plus the Chapter 7 report scene
Violet is a spirit girl in Beast of Reincarnation who is visible only to Emma. She lives with Emma at the edge of a Colony, and official material describes her as the one presence Emma is able to open up to. Where Emma begins the story without memories and without emotions, Violet is emotionally expressive, and she sometimes behaves toward Emma the way a guardian would.
She was revealed on June 7, 2026 during the PC Gaming Show segment that also introduced the game's Japanese voice cast, and her official profile was published two days later alongside the rest of the named characters. She is voiced in Japanese by Miyuki Sato.

Violet is with Emma from the opening and stays with her for the journey rather than being left behind at the settlement. Guide material describes her as the ghost who accompanies Emma across the road west, and she is counted alongside Koo, Kagura and Brad as one of the presences that pulls Emma out of the flat, feeling-less state she starts in.
Because nobody else can see her, their conversations read as internal rather than spoken, which is consistent with how Emma is described before the journey begins: no memories, no emotions, and no ordinary source of conversation apart from Violet.
Her Japanese voice actor, Miyuki Sato, is one of the nine credited performers on the Japanese cast list, and the pairing of her name to the character sits on the Japanese publisher's own character page rather than resting on post-launch write-ups. Sofia Jin plays her in the English dub.
The restriction covers sound as well as sight. Violet is audible only to Emma rather than merely invisible to everyone else, so nothing she says registers with anyone Emma travels with or meets on the road.
She also surfaces at fixed story beats rather than only in ambient chatter. In Chapter 7, examining Doctor S's report on the body of a vine-pierced Golem triggers a conversation with her, and Emma is sent straight back to the lair of the Nushi afterwards.
Violet's role only makes sense against Emma's isolation. Emma is a Blightborn, and the people in her settlement treated her as a Malefact rather than as a neighbour, which is why she was living apart from the community when the story opens. Her own profile says she has neither memories of her past nor emotions, and that she wants to understand the feelings she lacks.
Violet is the counterweight to all of that. She is expressive where Emma is blank, protective where Emma has been shunned, and present where nobody else would come near. That the one companion Emma had before Koo is a spirit only she can see is a fairly precise statement of how alone the game intends her to be at the start, and it sets up the loneliness that director Kota Furushima has described as the emotional core of the whole project.
What Violet is, and where she comes from, is answered in the back half of the campaign rather than in her introduction. That material is heavy story spoiler, it currently rests on a single guide source, and this wiki is holding it until a second trusted source covers it. Nothing about her origin is stated here.
Still unrecorded: whether anyone other than Emma has ever seen her, and whether she carries any mechanical function at all as opposed to being purely a story presence. No skill, item or interface element is attached to her name.
