Beast of Reincarnation ships in two retail editions, a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders for both editions went live on April 20, 2026, ahead of the worldwide August 4, 2026 launch. This page collects the verified contents of each edition, the pre-order bonuses applied to either purchase, the physical-release situation per platform, and the service coverage that comes with the Xbox and PC versions.
Editions
Both editions include the full single-player campaign, with the Deluxe tier adding cosmetics, an extra weapon for Emma, and a sizeable in-game Amber stipend. Confirmed regional pricing is below.

Edition | USD | GBP | EUR | JPY |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Standard | $59.99 | £49.99 | €54.99 | ¥7,979 |
Deluxe | $69.99 | £57.99 | €64.99 | ¥8,989 |
Pricing for regions outside USD, GBP, EUR, and JPY (such as AUD, NZD, CAD, or other Asian markets) has not been formally announced. Listings on local digital storefronts are the most reliable source for those territories.
Standard Edition
The Standard Edition is the base game. It includes the full campaign, every district level, all Nushi boss encounters, and the full hybrid action plus turn-based combat system that the team has been showing in pre-release material. There are no cosmetic locks or weapon locks tied to the Deluxe tier within the campaign itself, the Deluxe additions are extras layered on top of the same base package.
On its own, the Standard Edition still receives the launch pre-order bonuses described below if it is reserved before August 4, 2026.
Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition includes everything in the Standard Edition plus the following digital extras.

Brown Shiba Skin for Koo, the white Malefact dog companion.
Black Shiba Skin for Koo, exclusive to the Deluxe tier and not part of the standalone pre-order bonus.
Oni's Hat, a cosmetic head item for Emma.
Big Dipper, an additional sword for Emma. See Big Dipper for the weapon entry.
100,000 Amber added to her starting wallet of in-game currency.
These extras stack with the per-edition pre-order bonuses, so a player who pre-orders the Digital Deluxe Edition starts the game with both Shiba skins for Koo, Oni's Hat and the Big Dipper for Emma, and a combined Amber stipend covering both bonuses.
Pre-Order Bonuses
Pre-ordering either edition before launch grants the same two extras, regardless of platform or storefront.
Brown Shiba Skin for Koo, the same cosmetic that ships separately inside the Deluxe tier.
30,000 Amber, paid into the player's wallet of Amber, the in-game currency.
The Brown Shiba Skin overlaps between Pre-Order and Deluxe, so a Standard pre-order receives only the Brown skin while a Deluxe pre-order receives both the Brown and the exclusive Black skin. Amber from the pre-order bonus stacks with the Deluxe stipend, for a combined 130,000 Amber on a Deluxe pre-order.
Physical Releases
Physical copies are confirmed for both Standard and Deluxe editions, but the platform coverage differs across the two tiers.

Physical Standard Edition is available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at $59.99 (¥8,980 in Japan).
Physical Deluxe Edition is exclusive to PlayStation 5 at $69.99. There is currently no Xbox Series X|S physical version of the Deluxe tier.
Physical PS5 copies of the Standard Edition include a serial code that unlocks the same digital bonuses as the Digital Deluxe Edition, including the 100,000 Amber stipend, both Shiba skins for Koo, Oni's Hat for Emma, and the Big Dipper sword. In effect, a physical PS5 Standard purchase performs the same role as the Digital Deluxe Edition.
Physical editions also bundle real-world vegetable seedlings, a tie-in to the plant motif that runs through Emma's design and the broader story.
In Japan and the wider Asia region, the physical edition is handled by a local publisher rather than Fictions directly. North American physical retail covers both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S Standard copies, with the Deluxe tier remaining PS5-exclusive.
Platforms and Service Coverage
Both editions are available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. PC and Xbox versions ship with the following first-party service coverage.
Day-one Xbox Game Pass: the game is included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Console Game Pass at launch on August 4, 2026.
Xbox Play Anywhere: one purchase covers both Xbox Series X|S and PC, with cross-progression for saves and cross-buy for the entitlement.
Xbox Cloud Gaming: cloud streaming via Game Pass Ultimate is supported at launch.
Handheld Optimized: the game is verified for handheld Xbox-compatible devices, with control layouts and performance targets tuned for those form factors.
The PlayStation 5 version is sold through PlayStation's own digital storefront and through standard physical retail. The PC version is sold through major digital storefronts; there is no exclusivity arrangement that ties the PC release to a single store, and Xbox Play Anywhere on PC is offered alongside the third-party PC release.
Studio Context
Beast of Reincarnation is developed by Game Freak and published by Fictions. Pricing parity with other major single-player action releases at launch reflects its position as Game Freak's first AAA title outside its long-running franchise work, and the dual physical and digital release plan mirrors a contemporary first-party-style rollout for both Sony and Microsoft platforms.
