Gracewing is No. 029 in the Aniimo index, a Wind creature that fights in the Heal role. Lone wanderers. They create illusions by shedding scales from their wings when threats approach.

Wild Aniimo are taken with Aniipods, and once caught this one can be raised, sent into battle, kept at The Homeland, or traded to another player. It belongs to the Flutternym line, which runs to 2 entries in total, and 3 alternate Forms have been published for it.

These are base figures and balance changes can move them.

Besides its Basic Form, Gracewing has 3 published Forms. Each of them carries a different elemental pairing from the Basic Form, so the Form a Pathfinder catches decides what the creature is weak and strong against.

|---|---|---|---|
| Mountain Woods Form | Wind / Rock | |
| Nighttime Form | Dark / Wind | Not listed |
| Sea of Flowers Form | Wind / Grass | Not listed |
The Basic form can be found in Lumenfly Valley after The Land Where Dreams Come True removes its barrier. Enter northeast of Bloomville, or fast travel to the valley and descend into the cavern.
Every Aniimo carries a passive Trait that is always active while it fights alongside a Pathfinder.
Trait | Effect |
|---|---|
Flutter Heal | When entering battle as the active Aniimo, increases healing by 20%. If off field, appears as a phantom. When other Aniimo cast skills or Ultimates, restores HP equal to 0.5% of max HP. |
Mobility abilities are named actions used while Twined, separate from combat skills and traversal grades.
Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
Luminous Prowl | Enter a Cloaked state shrouded by pink mist |
The index grades three traversal capabilities, Climb, Fly and Swim, from level 1 to level 3. A Pathfinder inherits them by Twining with the creature, so Gracewing is worth keeping for how it gets you across the map as well as for what it does in a fight.
Capability | Grade |
|---|---|
Fly | Level 2 |
The table lists Gracewing's six available combat moves across its forms and capture unlocks and two innate skills. Choose the two combat skills for the build. Power is the published damage figure and Cost is the resource required.

All four forms list Wind of Rejuvenation, Purifying Dance and Phantomflutter. The regional forms also list their matching utility move. Capturing a Sea of Flowers, Nighttime or Mountain Woods Flutternym or Gracewing unlocks Healing Dance, Phantom Dance or Wind of Regeneration respectively for the other forms.

Mountain Woods | 5 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | ISTJ | Spirited Feather |
These five-point priorities favor REGEN, then HP. Equip Wind of Rejuvenation and Phantomflutter, with Help! Gracewing! as the ultimate. The same recovery core works across the four forms; choose the form and utility move to suit the encounter.
Wind of Rejuvenation heals the team over eight seconds, while Help! Gracewing! restores 30% of the caster's maximum HP immediately. Use the area heal for sustained damage and save the instant heal for a sharp HP loss. Phantomflutter creates pickups that mature after three seconds; teammates must touch them to receive the 20 EP, and only two can be present at once.
Prepare Leafy's and Turbo's support effects before the main damage window, then return to the healer when recovery is needed. Swap in Purifying Dance for nearby-team cleansing, Phantom Dance for an off-field cleanse, Healing Dance for its healing zone and BREAK damage reduction, or Wind of Regeneration for its shield.
The base Wind-recipient healing bonus on Wind of Rejuvenation is 3%; its contract raises that bonus to 6%. Core Skill Contracts separates that upgrade from the base effect. Held Items covers Spirited Feather and its upgrades.
