007 First Light carries part of your progress between platforms through an IOI Account. The feature is narrower than the name suggests: it moves your Tactical Simulation Mode profile and your challenge progress, and it deliberately leaves the campaign alone. Save games do not travel, so a campaign run started on one machine stays on that machine.

Supported Platforms
Cross-progression runs through the IOI Account on the platforms below. Linking is managed in the IOI Account cross-progression settings rather than in the game.
Family | Platforms |
|---|---|
PC | Steam, Epic, Microsoft Store |
PlayStation | PlayStation 5 |
Xbox | Xbox Series X and Series S |
The Nintendo Switch 2 version arrives in Summer 2026, and its cross-progression behaviour has not been detailed yet.
How the Primary Platform Model Works
When several platform accounts are linked to one IOI Account, you nominate a single platform profile as the primary progression profile. Every other linked platform then follows that profile's online progression rather than keeping its own. There is no merge step: the primary profile is the record, and the others fall in behind it.
This is the part worth reading twice before enabling anything. Choosing a primary profile can invalidate the local save on the platform you are switching away from. If you have a campaign in progress on a second platform, finish it or accept that it may not survive the switch.
Add-On Content
Licences do not travel. If you own a piece of add-on content on one platform and not another, you get neither the content nor any unlocks attached to it on the platform where you do not own it, even though the unlock is recorded against your account. Items redeemed directly through the IOI Account behave differently: those unlock automatically everywhere you are linked.
Common Questions
Question | Answer |
|---|---|
Do campaign saves move between platforms? | No. Save games and story progress stay where they were made. |
Do Tac Sim XP and Clearance move? | Yes, both ride on the online player profile. |
Are leaderboards shared? | No. Each platform keeps a separate board. |
Do collectibles carry over? | No. Collectible tracking is local to each platform. |
Challenge progress is held in the cloud and usually cached on the device, so a brief disconnection normally resolves itself once the game reconnects. Persistent mismatches between platforms are worth raising with support along with your platform, storefront, and the account email.
