This page lists the outstanding known issues in 007 First Light as of Game Update 1.0.5 (console build 1.013, the current live build on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S). The list is not exhaustive: it covers the most common or impactful problems IO Interactive is actively tracking, with workarounds where one exists.
Outstanding Issues
These problems are present in the current version of the game.
Issue | Platforms | What Happens | Workaround |
|---|---|---|---|
Save Failed / cannot create saves | PC | Saves fail to create during play, with repeated "Save Failed" notifications and progress not being kept; in some cases the error can stop the game from starting. | None at this time. |
IO Interactive Account sign-in prompt missing or creation errors | All | The in-game IO Interactive Account sign-in prompt is missing for some players; others get an error during account creation and receive no confirmation email, which can block linking the account in-game. | None at this time. |
Audio crackling during gameplay | PC / PS5 | Recurring audio crackling, reported every few seconds for some players and during cutscenes or at certain frequencies for others. | None at this time. |
Cannot shoot in the MI6 shooting range | PC / PS5 | Players are unable to fire weapons in the shooting range at MI6. | None at this time. |
HDR turns off after exiting the game | PC | HDR disables itself every time the player exits the game. | Re-enable HDR manually after restarting the game. |
Controller input not recognized on the start screen | Xbox Series X | The game does not progress past the start screen because controller input is not recognized. | Hold the Xbox button and restart without closing the game, then return via Quick Resume. |
Legacy/Collector's Edition content not granted (Obsidian Gold Suit) | PC / PS5 | Players with the Legacy or Collector's Edition may not receive their edition content, such as the Obsidian Gold Suit, and may think a separate code is missing. | Check the game's DLC list on the storefront to confirm the items are present; if not, wait for the fix (no extra code is required). |
Blurry or low-resolution textures in Mauritania (Aleph) | PS5 Pro | Some textures in Mauritania, specifically in Aleph, load slowly or display at low resolution, producing blurry visuals. | None at this time. |
DualSense features not fully supported | PC | DualSense controller features such as haptics are missing on PC even when connected by cable. | Unconfirmed: reset keybindings to default, then restart the game. |
Recently Resolved
Two issues that previously appeared on this list have been resolved by the post-launch patches and are no longer outstanding:
The "Unable to play Offline" regression introduced by Game Update 1.0.4 was resolved by Game Update 1.0.5 (console build 1.013, June 15, 2026), which redeployed the 1.0.4 fixes together with the Offline-mode fix and returned PlayStation 5 to the current live build.
The PlayStation 5 crash during the opening cinematic was fixed in build 1.0.2 (June 2, 2026).
The PC "game will not launch" report has been removed from the official outstanding list. Players still affected should follow the PC troubleshooting steps and contact player support.
A full list of fixes shipped in each update is on the Day One Patch page.
Notes
The IO Interactive Account sign-in problem is the one most likely to affect reward unlocks, because the Outfits reward skins and the Twitch Drops both require a working, linked IO Interactive Account.
The Mauritania texture issue is specific to the enhanced PlayStation 5 Pro hardware and the Aleph area.
The Obsidian Gold Suit not being granted is tracked here as an entitlement issue rather than as a collectible; it is the same suit listed among the edition rewards on the Outfits page.
IO Interactive directs players who hit a problem that is not listed here to the official bug-report form, and maintains a separate archive of resolved issues. The fixes shipped so far are summarized on the Day One Patch page.
