Eradicator
September 11, 2026 at 10:23 PM
Initial version (2026-09-11)
The Eradicator is the Xol heavy artillery unit and one of the four the official faction page names in its sample roster. It is a Tier 3 body assembled from three Spectrons with a further 125 hexite and 250 flux paid on top, and it is the toughest unit in the faction at 1000 health behind 2 armour with Heavy armour type. Aether Shockwave fires four volleys at range 20 for 30 damage each, doubled against Heavy armour, and it carries the faction signature ability: it can grab five nearby Rollers and throw them at a target location, where they land Overclocked.
Figures below describe the September 2026 Early Access build, the one carrying the identifier ZS.c36778, and they move with the weekly patch cadence. Roughly half the versus roster had a stat touched in the fortnight before that build was captured, so treat every number here as dated rather than permanent.
Stat | Value |
|---|---|
Cost | 125 hexite and 250 flux, on top of the three Spectrons consumed by the merge |
Health | 1000 |
Shields | 0 |
Armor | 2 |
Armor type | Heavy |
Status resist | None listed in the entity record |
Move speed | 400 |
Vision | 16 |
Supply | 6 |
Build time | 24 seconds |
Tier | 3 |
Domain | Ground unit |
Infuse cost | 21.875 |
Reanimate cost | 21.875 |
Replicate cost | 21.875 |
Merged from | 3 Spectrons |
Unlocked by | World Forge |
Weapon | Damage | Volleys | DPS | Range | Cooldown | Targets | Bonuses and splash |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Aether Shockwave | 30 per volley | 4 volleys of 1 shot | 40 | 20 | 3s | Ground | +100% against Heavy armour, 100% splash over 1 range |
The four volleys are what the description means by hitting up to four targets at once. Against Heavy armour each volley lands for 60, so a full salvo into a heavy line is 240 damage spread across as many as four points, each splashing at full value over 1 range.
Ability | Type | Cooldown | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
Launch Rollers | Activated, targets a location | 30s | Grabs 5 nearby Rollers and throws them to the target location. They arrive Overclocked, gaining +35% damage and movement speed for 5 seconds. |
No Eradicator specific upgrades exist and the Eradicator has no molten mode. It unlocks at the World Forge, which is also where the army wide upgrades live, so in practice every Eradicator arrives alongside at least one of them.
Source | Cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|
World Forge Weapon Range | 200 flux, 60 seconds | +20% weapon range per rank, doubled near the Forge, which on a range 20 weapon is the largest absolute gain in the faction |
World Forge, five others | 200 flux each, 400 flux for Casting Range, 60 seconds | Armor, Damage, Vitals, Cooldown Reduction and Casting Range, each to 2 ranks. A player picks 3 upgrades in total |
Replicate is the Xol conversion mechanic, paid out of the same top bar power pool as the Grell Infuse and the Legion Reanimate. Rather than buffing a unit it copies one, producing a second body from an eligible ally. Since the balance pass of August 11, 2026 it also works on molten units, at twice the usual power cost. Eligibility is not universal, and the tags on a unit record are what say which of the three conversions apply. The Eradicator is eligible for all three at an identical 21.875 power each, the most expensive conversion in the faction. Copying one is a major commitment of the top bar pool, and the alternative of replicating three Spectrons at 4.375 each and merging them costs 13.125 instead, at the price of the merge cost and the time.
This is the faction answer to a heavy line. Range 20 is the longest weapon the Xol field, and the +100% Heavy bonus is pointed squarely at the units built to absorb damage: against Heavy armour the Eradicator does 40 damage a second on paper and 80 in practice, from outside most return fire. Armour is a number as well as a type. It subtracts a flat amount from every incoming hit with a floor of 1 damage, so it blunts many small hits far more than one large one. A defending armour value works poorly against it too, because 30 damage per volley is large enough that a flat subtraction of 2 or 3 barely registers.
The constraints are the interesting part. Move speed 400 ties the Eradicator with the Gravitron for the slowest ground unit in the roster, it costs 6 supply, and since August 11, 2026 it cannot attack air at all. An Eradicator that gets flanked, or that faces a flier, contributes nothing. It is a unit that has to be escorted.
Launch Rollers is what makes it more than artillery. Five Rollers delivered across the map on a 30 second cooldown, arriving with +35% damage and movement speed, is an insertion tool as much as a damage one, and it pairs directly with the way the faction banks Rollers as material. A Havoc does the same job by driving; an Eradicator does it by throwing.
The World Forge is the Tier 3 Xol structure, unlocked by the Molten Core, and it unlocks both the Eradicator and the Gravitron as well as Tier 3 mercenary hiring. Because the Eradicator consumes three Spectrons, it competes with the Synapse for the same banked bodies, and the free 20 second Unmerge added on August 11, 2026 makes that choice reversible. See Units for the shared stat block and Resources and Economy for flux, which is the resource this unit is hungry for.
Strong against | Why |
|---|---|
Heavy armour | The +100% bonus raises each of four volleys from 30 to 60, for 240 damage per salvo. |
Static or slow formations | Range 20 with splash over 1 range punishes anything that has to hold ground. |
Units with low armour values | Thirty damage per volley makes a flat subtraction of 2 or 3 nearly irrelevant. |
Weak to | Why |
|---|---|
Air units | Since August 11, 2026 the Eradicator cannot attack air at all. |
Fast flanking units | Move speed 400 is the slowest in the faction, and 6 supply makes each loss expensive. |
Anything that closes to melee | A 3 second cooldown weapon with no minimum range listed still cannot trade with a unit standing on top of it. |
Date | Change |
|---|---|
August 11, 2026 | The Eradicator can no longer attack air. |
August 11, 2026 | Now deals full area damage within 1 range, which is the 100% splash over 1 range recorded in the weapons table above. |
The roster record for this unit is COMPLETE. Every core field is published.
The two August 11, 2026 studio changes are both visible in the build data, which is a useful confirmation that the entity record tracks the patch notes. The weapon targets ground only and the splash is recorded at multiplier 1 over range 100, which is 1 in display range.
Launch Rollers publishes a cooldown and a Roller count but no range, so how far an Eradicator can throw is not stated. The Overclock buff it applies is described as +35% damage and movement speed, the same wording carried by the Synapse and the Xol Harvester. A studio note of August 11, 2026 records the movement half of that buff being increased from +35%, so the entity figure for movement is likely out of date. The damage half is not in dispute.
Per unit numbers are drawn from a community maintained entity catalogue that the studio links from each of its own faction pages. It is the only place the full stat block is published, and it is not a studio document, so the figures are best read as careful community documentation of a build rather than as an official specification. Dated balance notes, by contrast, come straight from the studio patch posts.
