Survivor's Boots is the Uncommon feet piece of the Survivor's Set set in Windrose. It is crafted at the Armor and Clothing Workshop after unlocking the Plans: Survivor's Boots recipe.

Rarity: Uncommon
Slot: Feet
Set: Survivor's Set
Item Level: Base ilvl 1; scales to ilvl 11 through tier upgrades
"A roughly made outfit, well suited for hacking through jungle thickets and fending off boar tusks."
Like all Rare and Uncommon armor, Survivor's Boots has three crafting tiers that set its base Defense. Each tier can be upgraded several more levels at the Upgrading Station using the same recipe materials.
Item Level | Defense | Craft Tier |
|---|---|---|
1 | 100 DEF | Base tier |
6 | 200 DEF | Second tier (upgraded recipe) |
11 | 300 DEF | Third tier (top recipe) |
Requires the craft plan Plans: Survivor's Boots to be unlocked first.
Item Level | Station | Materials |

1 | 2 Rough Hide, 2 Coarse Fabric | |

Each tier unlocks a new workshop attachment: the Shoemaker's Bench at ilvl 6 and the Material Rack at ilvl 11. Both attach to the Armor and Clothing Workshop and require its Bonfire coverage to function.
Survivor's Boots are a craft-only piece: there is no drop or vendor copy. The starting blueprint, Plans: Survivor's Boots, unlocks once you have basic Tailoring progress and an upgraded backpack. Gather the tier-1 materials, Rough Hide and Coarse Fabric, from boars and early Coastal Jungle gathering, then craft at the Armor and Clothing Workshop.
Pushing the boots to higher item levels means swapping in refined materials: Tanned Leather and Linen Fabric at item level 6, then Crocodile Hide Piece, Tarred Fabric, and a Master's Tools at item level 11. The Shoemaker's Bench and Material Rack attachments needed for those upper tiers both sit on the same workshop and rely on its Bonfire coverage.
The Survivor's Set is Uncommon tier and carries no 2-piece or 4-piece set bonus. Its value is in the 100 base Defense per piece and its availability as an affordable early-game craft.
"Each time we journey to where the sky meets the sea, we begin a new legend." (Exquemelin, a traveler)
Boots are one of the two ilvl-scaling feet slots (along with the torn starter boots) and share material costs with the Survivor's Gloves tier.
The full Survivor's Set is the four-piece Uncommon starter outfit: the boots, the Survivor's Jacket, the Survivor's Gloves, and the Survivor's Pants. Because the set grants no piece-count bonus, you can freely mix any of these with stronger gear without losing a set effect.
Defense values follow the standard Uncommon armor curve: 100 base at item level 1, then upgraded recipes at item level 6 and 11. Each crafted tier can also be pushed several extra levels at the Upgrading Station using the same materials, so a tier-1 craft does not lock you out of more defense before you unlock the next recipe.
