Weaponsmith Workshop - the station used for most weapon crafting and upgrades
Outside the standard loot-and-craft routes, Smasher has a distinct acquisition path that most weapon guides overlook: it can be fished up as a large-fish catch. Rigging a rod at a coastal fishing spot and landing a large-class fish sometimes yields the Smasher item along with the usual fish pull. The drop is not guaranteed on any single catch, so the fishing route is additive rather than a substitute for the Weaponsmith Workshop craft.
When fishing beats crafting: the craft recipe (5x Copper Ingot + 10x Wood at Weaponsmith Workshop) is cheap enough that most players who have Copper smelting online can craft rather than wait on a lucky fishing roll. The fishing route is most valuable for characters who happen to be farming fish for meals and treat the Smasher roll as a welcome side drop, not for those specifically hunting the weapon.
