Roof (Leaves) is a leaf-thatched Roof piece sloped at 26 degrees. It is one of the cheapest roofs in the game, costing a single Plant Fiber per panel, with 500 max health like the other early thatch roofs. The leaf style gives a jungle, hut-like look that suits a Caribbean island camp.
Roofs sit on top of Walls to close off a building and shelter the interior. Because it needs only one fiber and no wood, the leaf roof is often the very first roofing a new player can afford. It is taught with triangular walls so the gable ends of the pitched roof close cleanly.
The leaf roofing set shares the 26 degree pitch and 500 max health. Use these together for a complete roof:
Piece | Role | Max Health |
|---|---|---|
Standard sloped leaf panel | 500 | |
Wide sloped leaf panel | 500 | |
Fills the triangular gable gap | 500 | |
Caps the peak between two slopes | 500 | |
Turns the roof line at a corner | 500 |
Harvest Plant Fiber from bushes and grass; at one fiber per panel a full leaf roof is almost free.
Pair the flat panels with Triangular Roof (Leaves) and Roof Ridge (Leaves) to seal the gables and peak.
With 500 max health leaf roofs are fragile; swap to tile roofs once you can spare Stone for a defensible base.
The recipe is unlocked by the Plans: Leaf Roofs and Triangular Walls plan.
Roof (Leaves) is part of the crafting progression chain rather than a standalone collectible. Use the recipe, station, and ingredient rows to trace what unlocks it, what it consumes, and which linked upgrades or materials should be prepared before crafting it.
