Rolling Home is one of the traditional sea shanties included on the official Windrose Original Soundtrack. It appears on the soundtrack in both trailer and full versions, and thematically caps off the game's shanty repertoire as a song of returning home after a voyage.
The track appears on the Windrose: Original Soundtrack (Steam App 4564200), released alongside the April 14, 2026 Early Access launch. Vocals are performed by Sean Dagher, a Canadian folk singer and shantyman known for his recordings of traditional sea songs. Arrangements are by the Kraken Express audio team. Like the rest of the in-game shanties, it is a traditional song arranged for Windrose rather than a newly composed piece, and it was produced entirely in-house with no AI vocal or compositional tools.

"Rolling Home" is a traditional 19th-century sea song, sometimes classed as a ballad rather than a strict work shanty because it is less tied to a specific shipboard task. Its lyrics celebrate the voyage home from distant waters, and most surviving English versions describe a homecoming from the long clipper routes. The song is firmly in the public domain, which is why an age-of-sail game can draw on it directly. Windrose uses it as the homecoming note of its set.
Triggered at the ship's helm by pressing B while under sail. NPC Crew members on deck join the vocals while you steer between islands. Shanties pause when combat begins, since naval cannons take priority, and resume once the engagement ends.

Early community writeups referenced a standalone "Rolling Home" single release, but no such single has been verified in primary sources. The shanty exists only on the official OST at this time.
