Regular Ring of Divine Protection is a rare ring in Windrose. It modifies damage resistance when worn in an accessory slot. It is the mid-tier ring in the Divine Protection line, sitting between the Minor and Major versions.

Effect

Increases Damage Resistance by 12%

Damage Resistance is a flat percentage reduction applied after type-specific defences, so it cuts the damage you actually take from every source. This makes the ring a safety-net pick for tough boss fights where defensive armour alone is not enough.

Because the cut is applied after armor, the ring stacks cleanly with high-Defense sets like Conquistador or Pikeman plate, and it shines on lighter Cloth builds such as the Marksman's Rig that lack heavy armor. For the largest reduction available, ascend toward the Epic Major Ring of Divine Protection at 15%.

How to Obtain

The Divine Protection line is crafted at the Jewelery Table once you have learned its plan. As with other jewelry, you must first acquire the plan item before the recipe appears, then supply the Silver Ingot and Sapphire listed below. The Jewelery Table must be placed indoors under a roof and within range of a Bonfire to function.

You can also ascend an existing Minor Ring of Divine Protection up to this Rare tier at the same table, which reuses the lower ring plus extra Gold Ingot and Silver Ingot. The full cost is listed under Details below.

Tips

• Windrose characters have three accessory slots: one ring slot, one necklace slot, and one miscellaneous slot. Only one ring can be worn at a time, so pick the one whose bonus best matches your primary weapon or task.

• Keep one Divine Protection ring in reserve for hard bosses such as Thomas Richards, where flat damage reduction outvalues a damage ring.

• Any unwanted ring can be broken down at the Disassembly Table, returning some of its Silver Ingot.

Flavor Text

In ancient times, the coiled spiral motif symbolized the sun and was thought to ward off the evil eye. Who knows, maybe this ring really will protect its wearer.
