Quick Strikes is a Tier 1 talent in the Fencer branch of the Windrose Talent System. It adds a flat damage increase to all one-handed melee weapons. There are no conditions and no ramp: the bonus applies to every swing from the moment it is learned.

Quick Strikes scales the Fencer's light, fast melee weapons, led by the Saber and the Rapier. It does not affect two-handed weapons such as the Halberd or Greatswords, and it does not affect firearms: a Pistol is not treated as one-handed for this talent. The ranged equivalent is Firearm Training.
Treated as mandatory for every Fencer build. It is the flat-scaling backbone of the branch, and community consensus universally takes it to 3/3 early because the value is unconditional.
Deep Cuts, stacks the Slash damage subtype on top of the flat increase.
The Flibustier Set armor, whose 4-piece bonus adds a further +15% one-handed damage.
Surgical Cuts, a Fencer follow-up that benefits from the higher per-hit baseline.
Deadly Finale, the chain finisher that multiplies an already-boosted swing.
Quick Strikes is the flat-damage backbone that every one-handed build takes early. The +8% at rank 3 is unconditional, so there is no combat-condition math to track and no lost value in short engagements. It forms the base that conditional Fencer talents like Deadly Finale then multiply.
A Rapier of a Thousand Cuts dealing 125 damage per hit rises to 135 with rank-3 Quick Strikes. Over a full 5-stack Deadly Finale chain the total grows by roughly 50 to 75 across the combo, depending on critical rolls.
Applies only to one-handed melee weapons. Firearms are not one-handed for this talent; Firearm Training is the ranged equivalent.
Stacks additively with the Flibustier Set 4-piece bonus (+15% one-handed damage) for +23% total flat increase.
Points can be reset at any time through a free respec if a build moves to two-handed or ranged weapons.
