Removed a dash from the flavor quote, replaced the empty where-found stub with useful sourcing, linked Fast Travel and the Dodo drop source, and added recipe-cost context.
Homeward Journey is a single-use travel consumable in Windrose that returns the player to their last revival point (typically a Bonfire they have lit). It is one of the few items in the game that can override normal travel rules, which makes it valuable as an emergency extraction tool when a far-flung exploration run goes wrong.

The Feather requirement is the usual bottleneck. Feathers drop from birds such as the Dodo and other fowl across the archipelago. Undead Essence drops from undead enemies in the Cursed Swamps. Rum Bottle drops from pirates, ship holds, and Pirate Camps, and is also sold in Tortuga. Alchemical Base is brewed from 1 Clay Bottle + 1 Misty Orchid at the same station, so each Homeward Journey effectively consumes three orchids and three bottles on top of the headline ingredients.
Homeward Journey is an emergency button, not a quick-travel option. For routine relocation between explored areas, the free Fast Travel network is far cheaper. Consuming an elixir costs roughly a full exploration run's worth of reagents, so it is only worth using in situations where the alternative is a long walk back through hostile territory or losing a run's progress on death.
