Overview

Crocodile Tail is a cooking ingredient dropped by crocodiles in Windrose. It is the headline ingredient for Meaty Croc Kebab, the epic-tier +20 Strength dish that melee builds prize.

How to Get

• Hunt Crocodile in Coastal Jungle and swamp-adjacent wetlands.

• Hunt Plague Crocodile in the Cursed Swamps.

• Tail drop rate is not 100%; large crocodiles tend to yield more per kill.

Drop Sources

Crocodile Tail drops from both standard Crocodiles in the Cursed Swamps and Plague Crocodiles in deeper Swamps zones. Plague Crocodiles additionally drop Tainted Bile on top of the standard crocodile loot table. Exact drop rates are not documented across public sources; treat both variants as RNG-based loot rather than guaranteed per kill.

Both NeonLightsMedia and method.gg describe Crocodile Tail as the gateway ingredient to Strength-focused Epic cooking. Players who do not establish a reliable crocodile-farming route in the Cursed Swamps will cap out at +10 Strength from Spicy Breaded Kebab (Rare), rather than the +20 Strength Epic tier. For boss fights scaling against tougher enemies in the late game, the tail supply is effectively a hard requirement, not a luxury.
