Arches are decorative and structural opening pieces that frame doorways, entryways, and large open wall gaps in masonry-tier construction. Windrose offers roughly 10 arch pieces, primarily in plaster and stone material, that snap into wall openings to give a settlement a finished, classical look.
Arches belong to the late-game estate building set rather than the starter shacks. They sit alongside mahogany, stone, and timber pieces in the highest construction tier, and most of the category unlocks together from a single recipe plan looted while exploring rather than being available from the first Bonfire. See Building Pieces for the full category list and tier order.

Arches are almost entirely an estate-tier aesthetic. They snap into open wall gaps and pair naturally with Column (Stone) or mahogany pillars to form classical-style entrances. The Columns and Arches plan unlocks most of the category at once, so a single recipe drop opens up arches, half arches, columns, pillars, and beams together.
Beyond entryways, arch and facade pieces double as under-roof decoration: the open cutout tucks cleanly beneath the eave of a 45-degree tile roof, which lets you dress the gable end of a large hall without leaving a blank wall.
Combine Arch (Plaster) with Column (Stone) for a classical-style entry portico. The pieces snap cleanly when placed side-by-side.
Tall Arch (Plaster) is ideal for the great-hall look; budget extra Stone before starting.
Semi-Arch pieces fill awkward gaps where a full arch will not fit. Useful for niche shrines and display alcoves.
Arches do not replace doors. A door panel must still be placed in any arched doorway that should open and close.
