Tofu

Tofu is a base processed material in Starsand Island, produced at the Separator from Soybeans. It belongs to the same family as the seven Separator-derived base cooking ingredients (Flour, Sugar, Vegetable Juice, Fruit Pulp, Protein Powder, Meat Bites, Fish Fillet) that anchor most cooking recipes in the game.

Production

Soybean Source

Soybeans are grown at your farm. Soybean seeds are sold by Graminova at the Happiness Seed Shop. Like other crops, Soybeans take a fixed number of in-game days to grow once planted in tilled soil and watered. Carry a small Soybean stockpile if you plan to do tofu-heavy cooking sessions, since the Separator processes one Soybean per cycle.

Used in Cooking Recipes

Other Separator-derived dishes can also accept Tofu as a substitute or paired ingredient depending on recipe variant. Check the in-game recipe book at Aurelis's Aureleaf Kitchen for the latest unlocked list.

Tips

• Run Soybeans on a side plot. Set aside one tilled-soil row for Soybeans so Tofu production never stalls.

• Stack Separators. Build two or three Separators in parallel: cooking sessions consume base ingredients faster than a single station can produce them.

• Pair with Fine Salt. Tofu Seaweed Soup needs both Tofu and Fine Salt. Fine Salt comes from the Charcoal Kiln, not the Separator, so plan both production lines together.

• Cook in batches. Cooking takes real in-game time, so build multiple Campfires or upgrade to a Gas Stove for parallel output.
