Overview

The Spring Festival is one of three major seasonal celebrations in inZOI, introduced alongside the calendar and birthday system in the v0.7.0 anniversary update on March 26, 2026. It takes place during the Blossoming season (Spring) of the in-game calendar year and celebrates the arrival of warmer weather with themed activities and festive decorations in each city's main park.

The Spring Festival follows the seasonal celebration framework established by the Halloween Festival (v0.4.0) and the Winter and Year-End Festival (v0.5.0). Unlike those earlier events, which were delivered as real-world timed releases, the Spring Festival is part of the permanent in-game seasonal rotation tied to the 28-day calendar cycle. It recurs automatically each time the Blossoming season arrives.

Calendar Integration

The v0.7.0 update introduced a 28-day month calendar that divides each in-game year into four seasons of 7 days each:

At the default day length of 96 real-world minutes per in-game day, one season takes roughly 11 hours and 12 minutes of gameplay at normal speed. The game sends a notification when the festival period begins, and players can view upcoming festivals on the calendar at any time.

Festival Locations

The Spring Festival takes place in the main parks of all three cities:

Each location receives spring-themed decorations and seasonal landmarks during the festival period. The atmosphere varies between cities due to differences in climate and geography. Cahaya's tropical setting presents a noticeably different visual backdrop compared to Dowon's urban parks.

Festival Booths

Three new festival booth items were added to the building catalog in v0.7.0. These booth objects can be placed in parks and lots to create festival gathering spaces. The booth system follows the same pattern established by the Holiday Festival, which featured Snack Booths, Gift Booths, and Ingredients Booths.

During the Spring Festival, booths provide seasonal snacks, gift boxes containing limited-edition Build Mode items, and crafting materials for seasonal recipes. Players can also place festival booth items from the building catalog on their own lots to create a personal spring celebration space.

Connection to Flower Farming

The v0.7.0 update introduced flower farming and arranging alongside the Spring Festival, making the two features natural companions. Six new farmable flower varieties were added, along with the ability to craft bouquets and flower baskets. A new Flower Shop business type lets players purchase and operate their own floral business.

Players with a high Gardening skill can apply special effects to their flowers, enhancing value and visual appeal. Bouquets crafted at flower shops can be gifted to other Zois for relationship building. While the flower system works year-round, growing and arranging flowers during the Blossoming season offers a thematic seasonal activity.

Comparison with Other Seasonal Festivals

The 2026 development roadmap indicates that additional festival content and a Summer festival may be added in future updates.

Tips

• Check the calendar regularly to plan around the Blossoming season.

• Visit all three city parks during the festival. Each location has a different setting and atmosphere.

• Use the festival period to level up Gardening. The flower farming system pairs naturally with the spring theme.

• Craft bouquets at a flower shop and gift them to build relationships.

• To reach the Spring Festival faster, shorten the day length in Game Options to speed up the seasonal cycle.

• Place festival booth items on your own lots from the building catalog to host your own spring celebration.
