Overview

Pickled Carrot is a processed food product in Starsand Island, made at the Pickling Jar. It is crafted by fermenting Carrot with Salt. Carrots grow in Winter at the Junior Farmer tier, making them a reliable winter crop for pickling.

Recipe

Crafted at the Pickling Jar. Fermentation takes approximately 1 to 2 in-game days to complete. The Pickling Jar is unlocked at Intermediate Farmer certification and costs 2,000 coins from the Happiness Seed Shop. Salt is produced at the Charcoal Kiln using Salt Brick and Fiber.

Uses

• Cooking Ingredient: Pickled Carrot is used as an intermediate ingredient in cooking recipes that call for pickled vegetables, including salads and side dishes

• Selling: Pickled vegetables sell for 300 to 600 coins each, significantly more than raw vegetables. Sell at the Merchant Ship at Starsand Port for approximately double the standard vendor price

• Bulletin Board: Pickled items occasionally appear as Bulletin Board requests for premium prices

• Gifting: Some NPCs enjoy receiving pickled goods as gifts

Tips

• Pickling is one of the most profitable processing methods in the game. Always pickle surplus vegetables rather than selling them raw.

• The Merchant Ship at Starsand Port pays roughly 200% of the standard vendor price for pickled goods.

• Build multiple Pickling Jars to process different vegetables simultaneously, since fermentation takes 1 to 2 days.

• Keep a steady supply of Salt by processing Salt Brick at the Charcoal Kiln.
