Expanded stub with detailed location, recipe, crafting, gifting, and farming information
Mirthshroom is a mushroom native to the Moonlit Forest. Described as a short-statured bamboo mushroom with a wide, lacy skirt and a striking blue-purple hue, it emits a special mist that soothes animals. Players can hand-feed Mirthshroom to creatures to boost their Happiness, making it one of the few forageable items with a direct animal care application.
Mirthshroom can be gathered by hand while exploring the Moonlit Forest or grown on farm plots using Mirthshroom Spores. Since it costs no stamina to pick up in the wild, players should collect every Mirthshroom they see during dungeon runs.
Mirthshroom grows throughout all zones of the Moonlit Forest. Nodes are easy to spot thanks to their glowing blue-purple caps. Specific zones where Mirthshroom appears include:
Evernight Forest (the first zone, near the entrance camp)
Mural Valley (abundant near blue mushroom clusters)
Darkwater Shore (scattered along the paths)
Grain Haven (in the upper reaches of the forest)
All mushroom nodes in the Moonlit Forest respawn daily, so Mirthshroom can be collected on every visit. Players can also grow Mirthshroom on their farm by processing 2 Mirthshroom into Mirthshroom Spores at the Grinder, then planting the spores on a crop plot.
Mirthshroom is used in the following cooking recipes:
Recipe | Ingredients | Station | Effect | Cook Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
2x Mirthshroom | Restores 45 stamina; grants Creamy Seeds buff | 24s | ||
2x Sunveil Shroom, 2x Mirthshroom | Restores stamina (Intermediate Explorer recipe) | 49s |
The Mirthshroom Soup recipe is found in a chest inside the Moonlit Forest. It is one of the easiest recipes to prepare since the only ingredient is Mirthshroom, which is free to pick up. The Creamy Seeds buff increases the chance of receiving regular or immortal seeds when harvesting mature crops. This buff stacks up to 5 times and lasts 5 minutes per stack, making it highly valuable for farmers.
Beyond cooking, Mirthshroom has several crafting applications:
Product | Station | Notes |
