Building

Press C to enter construction mode. You start with a plot of land and can freely build your own house piece by piece using materials from your inventory. There's no pre-made house to upgrade. You design and build the whole thing yourself.

Construction modes

• Free-view building: Overhead view for designing and placing structural elements. Blocks can be resized after placement using yellow arrows.

• Character perspective: First-person view for furnishing and decorating interiors and exteriors.

• Local view: Closeup mode for decorating smaller spaces like fish tanks and shelves.

Customization

• 8 paint textures: wood grain, brick, stone, gloss paint, matte paint, metallic paint, rough/micro cement, ceramics

• Wall and floor materials can be set independently

• Any item you've found can be placed as decoration, including random objects like snacks and old tools

• Weather and lighting preview: set the time of day and weather conditions to see how your house looks

• Terrain editing: create hills, lakes, and gardens around your property

• Blueprint library: save and share construction plans including structure, objects, and decoration

Land expansion

Unlock at Junior level in any profession plus 5 Community Center requests. Additional land plots are purchased through the phone menu. Each expansion costs more:

• First expansion: 2,000 Gold + 50 Starsand

• Eighth expansion: 160,000 Gold + 300 Starsand

All plots are the same size. Purchases are permanent with no refunds. See Land expansion for the full price table.

Multiple properties

You start in Hopeland. Additional properties unlock as you progress:

• Cloudrest Lake: Unlocked at Home Builder rank (expand land 6 times). Costs 6,000,000 Gold + 750 Starsand.

• Blue Beach: Unlocked at Bright Star rank.

• Windflute Island: Unlocked at Starsand Legend rank.
