STAR WARS Zero Company spreads its campaign across two very different geographies. The Galaxy Map is where the company plans, spends Intel, and runs Operations; the Tactical Missions themselves take place on a much smaller set of purpose-built worlds. Both layers are reached from the holotable at the Den.
Two Layers of the Galaxy

Bit Reactor has put numbers on both layers. The Galaxy Map includes over 150 planets where strategic Operations can potentially take place across a campaign, many of them the site of choose-your-own-adventure style war table decisions rather than combat. Sitting inside that spread are over a dozen unique planets built as Tactical Mission locations, each with detailed environments developed with the Lucasfilm Games team.
Layer | Scale | What Happens There |
|---|---|---|
Galaxy Map | Over 150 planets | Operations, war table choices, instant rewards, unlocks for further missions |
Tactical Missions | Over a dozen planets | Turn-based combat encounters, plus a short free-roam phase in story missions |
The map is divided into regions rather than presented as one flat sheet. Official material shows a region readout beside the galaxy view, naming the region the company is working through and tracking progress across it on a four segment bar. Vandor appears on that map as a labelled world.
Named Tactical Mission Worlds
Eleven of the Tactical Mission worlds have been named so far. The list skips most of the obvious film destinations in favour of places drawn from across the wider Star Wars canon.
The descriptions below are general background on each world. Bit Reactor has not published mission briefings for any of them, so what the company actually does on each one is not yet confirmed.
World | Background |
|---|---|
Anaxes | Core world with long-standing Republic military ties |
Brentaal | Core world on a major trade crossroads |
Dantooine | Quiet Outer Rim world of grassland and farming settlements |
Florrum | Outer Rim world of acid pools and pirate holdings |
Kaller | Green frontier world in the Outer Rim |
Lothal | Outer Rim world of grass plains and industrial settlement |
Mapuzo | Rocky mining world in the Outer Rim |
Ryloth | Homeworld of the Twi'leks, split between scorched and frozen faces |
Serolonis | Dry desert world in the Kriz sector of the Outer Rim |
Sullust | Volcanic world riddled with caves and lava fields |
Vandor | Snowbound frontier world crossed by rail lines |
Home Ground
Between deployments the company works out of the Den, its base on the Ring of Kafrene, and travels aboard the Caisson. Neither is a mission location in the usual sense: the Den holds the holotable, the upgrade facilities, and the crew who never take the field, while the Caisson moves the squad between jobs.
Walking the Ground First
Story missions open with a short free-roam segment before the shooting starts. Hawks moves through part of the environment in third person and can pick up Intel and Advantage Points that carry into the encounter that follows. Bit Reactor describes these as a minor part of the game and limited to the main story rather than a general exploration mode, so most Tactical Missions drop straight into combat. See Operations and Tactical Missions for how the cycle fits together.
In Star Wars Lore
Every world above except the company's own bases predates this game somewhere in Star Wars canon, which is where the background column comes from. That history is context, not content: nothing about these planets counts as part of Zero Company's telling unless the game itself shows it. Events, characters, and factions attached to these worlds elsewhere in the franchise should not be assumed to appear here.
