Jae Mordant is one of the story companions in STAR WARS Zero Company. Born into the ruthless noble House Mordant of Shu-Torun, she went offworld to build her own mining citadel on the planet Luunata and ruled it as Ore-Baroness, until Kundri Fathom and the Infinite Coil seized the planet for the Separatists.
Background

Sophisticated, witty, and relentlessly self-possessed, Jae is a noble turned industrialist who lost her holdings to the enemy. She was instrumental in convincing the Republic to hire Zero Company in the first place, and she will not rest until Luunata is hers again. That makes her motivation among the clearest in the squad: she wants her planet back.
Luunata itself is a volcanic world in the Mid Rim, where jagged mountain peaks fall away to alluvial terraces and then to broad floodplains. House Mordant built its citadel there to work the planet's rich kalkite seams, which is what made the world worth holding. When the Separatists conquered Luunata early in the Clone Wars, Jae pleaded her case in person before the Galactic Senate and could not rally enough support for a Republic intervention. That failure is the shape of the grievance she brings to the company: she went looking for soldiers because the Republic would not send any. Planets and Locations covers the worlds the campaign names.
Role in the Squad
Jae's stake in the campaign ties directly to the central conflict, since the world she lost is held by the Coil. Her drive to reclaim Luunata gives the company a personal reason to push deeper into enemy territory. Like every companion, she is exposed to permadeath, so the player has to weigh how often to risk her in the field.
Her Unique Talent, Final Shot, is a cleanup tool. Jae immediately assists and finishes any target that drops below a health threshold, without being told to, and upgrading the talent raises that threshold and lets her take more of these Final Shots in a single turn. The practical effect is that squadmates only have to bring an enemy low rather than all the way down, which frees up Action Points elsewhere in the turn.
In Star Wars Lore
In Star Wars lore, Shu-Torun is a mining world ruled by feuding noble houses. Jae's specific story, House Mordant, and her citadel on Luunata are original to this game. Anything the game does not show on screen belongs to the broader franchise and is not confirmed as part of Zero Company's own telling.
Performance
Judy Alice Lee voices Jae, a casting announced with the rest of the roster in July 2026. The complete list of credited roles is on Voice Cast.
