Initial version (2026-05-27): consumables and potions catalog
Consumables and potions in Romestead are single-use items that restore stats, cure conditions, or briefly buff a stat. The Cauldron is the primary crafting station for liquid consumables; bakery food handles longer-duration buffs (see Food and Cooking).
Minor Health Potion: the starter heal. Crafted at the Cauldron.
Major Health Potion: mid-tier heal. Larger HP restore than the minor variant.
The Cauldron health potion recipe was fixed in patch 0.22.1_5. Both potions are essential before boss fights, especially the 10,000 HP Cyclops endurance test.
Energy Potion: restores energy used for blocking, dodging, and sprinting. Balanced in patches 0.20.1_14 and 0.20.2_2 (nerfed) and 0.20.2_1 (further nerf).
Antidote: cures poison. Crafted from Poison Gland and herbal inputs.
Aloe Salve: topical healing salve using Aloe Vera.
Major Poison: inflict poison on target.
Poison Mushroom: harmful when consumed.
Venus' Perfume: a Venus-aligned consumable themed to her domain.
Pots are placeable consumables that deal area damage or status effects when thrown. The Small Pot can be crafted at the Pottery for throwing or catapulting (patch 0.20.1_23).
Small Pot: basic throwable.
Massive Pot: larger area effect.
Explosive Pot: explosion damage; one of the few things that damages the Desert Boss when immune (patch 0.19.2_2).
Incendiary Pot: sets ground on fire; can be triggered by fire (patch 0.22.1_6 era).
Lightning Pot: electric area damage.
Poison Pot: leaves a poison pool.
Some consumables provide unique effects. The Knuckle Dash ability scales with other unarmed damage buffs since patch 0.21.1_8. Bakery dishes (see Food and Cooking) stack with potion effects for layered combat preparation.
Combat: how consumables fit into combat preparation.
Resources and Materials: inputs for potions.
Trinkets: permanent accessory effects vs single-use potions.
