Quests
Honoring the Soil: the Ceres quest hub; tied to farm-building and crop cultivation. Issued at the Altar after restoring Ceres.
Why Restore Ceres
Ceres is the practical first or second god for most groups. Her Altar Blessing of +25% overall Health is one of the most universally useful effects in the game (it applies in combat, dungeons, and raids), and her unlocks include the Farmstead and improved farming output. A co-op group running long sessions usually picks Ceres early to keep food and health stable.
Offerings
Ceres responds to seed-themed and crop-themed offerings:
Dried Seed Pouch and Mixed Seed Pouch: bulk Ceres offerings.
Wheat, Olives, Apples, Apricots, Grapes: gathered crops.
Honey and Honey Comb: bee-related goods feed her affinity meter.
Bread, Libum, Globi: prepared foods made at the Bakery.
Talents and Blessings
Construction unlocks for farm-related buildings (Farmstead, Beehive).
Citizen-buff favors that improve work efficiency on food production.
Blessing of Ceres: +25% overall Health; one Altar Blessing can be active at a time.
Talent points are earned by filling the Ceres affinity meter at the Altar, which awards one Worship Point per fill. Worship Points can be spent in the Ceres tree at any time. See Worship and Blessings.
Lore Note
Bread and worship buffs were added to her toolkit during the worship overhaul, reflecting her central role in keeping a settlement fed. The Magus Ceres Scroll (a magical item that caused the day-one launch crash, fixed in hotfix 0.25.1) hints at a scholar-mage tradition tied to her domain.
