Sableye is a Ghost/Dark-type Pokemon from Generation III that was introduced to Pokemon Pokopia through the game's second limited-time event. Known as the Darkness Pokemon, Sableye has gemstone eyes and is known for its love of collecting jewels and treasure.
Sableye is available exclusively during the Sableye Event (April 29 to May 13, 2026). You automatically befriend Sableye after speaking to it at a fully rebuilt Pokemon Center during the event period. Once befriended, Sableye remains permanently even after the event ends.
Sableye's habitat is the Treasure-Hunting Set, an event-exclusive habitat built from items purchased with Red Crystal Fragments. The habitat requires three items arranged in at least a 2x2 grid:

The event can be accessed by changing the Nintendo Switch 2 system clock to the event period if you missed it. No internet connection is required.
Red Crystal Fragments are found by smashing Red Crystal Clusters inside caves on Dream Islands. Each cluster typically yields 4 fragments.
Sableye and its event items are not available on Cloud Islands.
