Gather is a Pokemon Specialty in Pokemon Pokopia. Pokemon with the Gather specialty pick up loose materials, dropped resources, and other items they find on the ground and place them into a Community Box. This automates resource collection in your settlement and is one of the most useful specialties for hands-off farming.

Especially valuable when paired with Litter specialty Pokemon, who continuously drop items that Gather Pokemon then sweep up
Gather sits at the start of the settlement's automated material flow. Gather Pokemon do more than drop items into a Community Box: when a box holds raw materials that a nearby station can process, Gather Pokemon will also carry those materials to the processing point, such as a Smelting Furnace. The chain works best when paired with the right processing specialty for whatever the Gather Pokemon collects.

Place a Community Box near a Litter-Pokemon habitat and assign a Gather-Pokemon to the same area. Material flows continuously from Litter to Gather to Community Box without your input.
Machop is one of the most popular Gather Pokemon because it is exclusive to Palette Town and excels at Community Box transport during large building projects.
Mr. Mime / Mime Jr. lines combine Gather with Build, making them double-duty helpers for active construction sites.
